Luke's Diner; Tuesday [09/02].
Ahhh, well. Nothing quite solidified a definitive return to Fandom quite like being stuck with a hat that one could not remove from one's head. And it apparently switched, because when Ignis had tried to remove the hat, it was replaced with a flower crown, and when he tried to remove that, it reverted back to the hat, and...well, he certainly wasn't going to waste more time exploring if there should be an inevitable cessation of the series. After all, it wasn't as if he had to look at it...
But then there was an additional reminder that Fandom was very much being Fandom this week as he came into the diner with some news from the kitchen as he set to getting his coffee before settling in on deciding the days specials: everything was coming up pancakes.
Just pancakes.
Well, except for the coffee, thank goodness, but anything food related was just coming up pancakes, but as far as a restriction on what he could intentionally make went, he supposed that one wasn't too bad. He did, however, have a sneaking suspicion that this was somehow due to Summer's influence, though precisely how, he could not explain.
(Generally, though, it felt like a realistic assumption to make).
Today's Specials
Cheddar Bacon Pancakes
Loaded Blueberry Oat Pancakes
Chocolate Corruption
Luke's is open!

(Liliana would, in fact, be very disappointed when her flowers died at sunset, and only slightly mollified when they were replaced by a very fierce and fabulous hat.)
"Chocolate corruption, hmm?" she purred as she swept past the rest of the staff and made her way to the counter. "Do tell me all about the inspiration behind that, my darling."

"Shameless corporatization, darling, the likes of which I surely have never experienced in my life before...."That pleased, smug smirk was already there on Ignis's face, as he lowered his mug to switch out the comfort of his coffee with that of her hand. "I taste her," he quoted, "and I realize I've been starving."
An extra growling emphasis on that last word, unnecessary, but a good preamble to the kiss that followed.
"It's the strangest thing," he then said, a bit later, and though the kiss was not the burst of flavor it had been yesterday, it was still one of the most delectable things he'd ever tasted. "For some reason, I simply haven't been able to get chocolate off my mind today..."

"Surely now, my darling, what product could you possibly be shilled for?""I beg you, eat me up," she quoted back to him. "Want me down to the marrow." She crooked a smile at him, fingers of her left hand brushing against his face. "And looking to give everyone a similar taste? Am I to order from the menu?"

also a Magic joke. Her hand curled slightly, as if protecting that spot on her palm that his lips had brushed. "Especially when it's something you've had percolating in that brilliant mind of yours all morning. Shall I go sit in our booth and prepare myself to be swept away by your culinary invention?"
