Rey's warehouse- Friday afternoon

Rey hadn't been to the warehouse since she'd come back, so she was unaware of any changes that had been made in her absence.

So imagine her surprise when she'd gotten inside and up over the quicksand, just in time to see a woodchuck launched in the air from a certain part of the course.

For as alarmed as she was, the other woodchucks gathered around it where it landed, and when he stood up, it sounded like they all cheered?

"Rey?" Anakin called, watching the woodchuck fly.

[thatwaslucky]

"The woodchuck's doing jumps now," she said, extremely confused. "Hi."

[sith_happened]

"Jumps," Anakin repeated.

[thatwaslucky]

"I have no idea," she said with a shrug. "I came in and there was flight off of the course, I have no idea what's going on."

Anakin smiled. "Jaina may have made adjustments."

[thatwaslucky]

Rey frowned. "Is it a trampoline?"

...ohhh maybe they needed a trampoline.

[sith_happened]

"I don't think Jaina added a trampoline," Anakin said. "...maybe we need a trampoline."

[thatwaslucky]

"We don't need a trampoline."

She'd come around on the trampoline. She always did.

"So what were the adjustments?"

[sith_happened]

"Don't you want them to be surprises?"

Anakin.

[thatwaslucky]

She wasn't ever scared about changes made in here- there was lava- and she didn't mind surprises, but she didn't like the way he said that.

"So there's more than one."

[sith_happened]

"Jaina got inspired," Anakin said.

[thatwaslucky]

"Oh, good," she said, but was fine with it and a little curious. "Is it ready to go?"

Probably, given the woodchuck Wright Brother over there.

[sith_happened]

"It's ready to go," Anakin said, nodding.

[thatwaslucky]

"All right," Rey said, heading to the ramp up. "Let's see."

And then she was off. Definitely being more cautious than usual.

[sith_happened]

"Jaina thought there needed to be some additions that she's found helpful for training," Anakin said.

[thatwaslucky]

"Got it," Rey called, deeply focused on what she was doing because she fully expected a trick.

She didn't expect what it was, though. She figured it out pretty quickly when one of the pop-ups came up while she was stepping on it, laying her flat.

"You found it," Anakin said helpfully.

[thatwaslucky]

That had hurt, and after the initial shock of the fall, Rey gritted her teeth and popped up to keep going. She also almost fell again when one of the pop-ups sprung up right in front of her, but she at least awkwardly dodged that.

Anakin was watching carefully. He didn't want Rey to get too hurt.

Helpfully, she slowed down enough that if she did fall, it wouldn't be as bad. But she kept going, because she had to push through pain anyway and it wasn't like anything was broken.

She was definitely slower for the rest of it, though, and came down the ramp at the end, saying, "What the hell."

"Not your favorite," Anakin surmised.

[thatwaslucky]

"Oh, I hate that," she said, stretching a little on the side she'd landed on. That was definitely going to bruise.

[sith_happened]

"Jaina will love knowing that," Anakin admitted.

[thatwaslucky]

"I didn't know she hated me," Rey complained. "I'm going to hurt myself a lot."

That's what we call lessons.

"But you'll get better," Anakin said.
