The station was quiet today. Quieter even than usual, without a single phone call regarding bees or garden gnomes or raccoons.

So Watts was spending his time being very productive: by fiddling with the Rubik's cube he kept in a desk drawer for just such occasions.

Sometime in the morning was a delivery. The note on it read:

The delivery was a wonderful and welcome break in the otherwise tedious work day, and so Watts made sure to take a photograph of the flowers and send them to Steven.
