All right, this week Rey was in the right mindset to get a lot of things accomplished, which meant catching up on anything from last week that had gone unfinished.

Despite the Mariah Carey song that was playing occasionally at random from somewhere that Rey couldn't determine. And with a pumpkin spice latte because the gremlins had warned her the winter drinks were coming.

Happy holidays, apparently!

"Rey?" Anakin said, coming into the store. "I don't suppose you'd be interested in a ton of candy?"

"Halloween went that well?" she guessed, looking up at him.

[sith_happened]

"Too well," Anakin said. "We have so much chocolate."

"Then I will happily take some candy," she said. "Thank you."

[sith_happened]

"Thank you," Anakin said, putting a recyclable bag full of candy onto the counter with a thud. "We took out all the Reese's cups."

Because priorities.

"Oh," she said. "I didn't expect enough to make that sound."

[sith_happened]

"They got so much candy."

[thatwaslucky]

"I might have to give some of this away," she realized.

Heads up, Supper Club.

"I won't care," Anakin assured her.

[thatwaslucky]

"As long as it's out of your house?" she said, amused. "I'm happy to do my part."

[sith_happened]

"This isn't even all of it," Anakin lamented.

[thatwaslucky]

"It's practice for when you get too much pie," Rey smiled. "Good Halloween, though?"

[sith_happened]

"I have a month to get ready for too much pie," Anakin said.

[thatwaslucky]

"I'll be happy to help there too," she said.

[sith_happened]

"You're very welcome to come up and thoroughly confused Rory's grandparents," Anakin said.

[thatwaslucky]

Rey brightened. "Really? Would they be all right with that? They haven't met me."

[sith_happened]

"It's Thanksgiving," Anakin said. "Well, one of them, anyway. I think we have to go to four."

[thatwaslucky]

"I would also have to go to four?" she checked. Just needed to go in with eyes open.

[sith_happened]

"The other three are much better than the one at Rory's grandparents," Anakin assured her.

[thatwaslucky]

"Okay. Thank you," she said, pleased. "I should check to make sure Adrian's not expecting anything."

She didn't think so? But that's new relationships at the holidays for you.

"Oh, of course," Anakin said.

[thatwaslucky]

"Do they know about me?" she wondered.

[sith_happened]

Anakin nodded. "Of course they know about you. Rory tells Lorelei everything, and I tell Rory everything."

[thatwaslucky]

"So they know everything?" Not that she even knew what all that might entail.

[sith_happened]

"Well, not everything," Anakin said. "They don't know about Palpatine."
