Ching Tai, Thursday Evening

Lydia had long since lost track of the proper rotation of restaurants for the Supper Club, and she felt like Chinese this evening, so: Ching Tai it was! She had sent missives to the usual suspects, and if anyone else wanted to join in, she hoped they would be able to find them. As it was, she was perusing the menu, trying to decide what she would try this time around. (Certainly not anything with a little drawing of a pepper beside it.)

"I did miss Supper Club," Henry mused. "All the food's so interesting. And I suppose the company helps as well."

He had calmed down a bit since his return, though how much of that was repression remained to be seen.

"You suppose?" Lydia asked, and it would be hard to tell if she was genuinely offended or just funning. Possibly she didn't know herself. "The company is the best part, sir!"
