Lonely valentine brunch for one, coming up.

"Do you think the french toast or the pancakes? I'm not you. I don't think I can eat both."

"But why not?" Raiden asked, confused.

Because not everyone was you, Raiden!

"I wouldn't be able to finish both," Stark said. "That's a bit too much food." Especially when he hadn't done anything to work up an appetite.

"It's just two things," Raiden argued, because that wasn't that many things! "But if you just want one, I guess it depends on whether you're feeling chocolate or not."

"I always like chocolate," Stark said. "But it's two whole meals and I can't usually eat that much at one time. So... maybe the chocolate today? French toast another time? I did say I would try to come in more often."

[carbsliftthespirit]

"It is the day of chocolate," Raiden agreed. "Good choice, man! And I don't know if that particular French toast will still be on the menu? But we have other options, of course." Raiden would never stint on the options.

"All days are days for chocolate," Stark said. "Maybe today a little more than most. Maybe yesterday I should have had chocolate cupcakes instead of the fairy cakes...another day."

"And... I'm sure it's all delicious, it always is. I wish I could eat all of them."

Maybe not the oysters...
