Deep in the Woods, Tuesday Morning
In the woods stood a rock. An unassuming rock, about half an average man's height, grey and covered in moss and life--
Until the sun sank down below the horizon on Monday night, and the clock struck midnight. The vegetation crumbled away. Snails hurried into the grass beyond. Little veins of light spidered across its surface.
And it began to sing.
If you dream them, they will come.
Still a whisper. It would be louder, later. But that whisper called across the island, across space, and touched upon the dreamers.
