East Side Park: The TARDIS
[Things are calm in East Side Park. Birds are fluttering about, insects are buzzing and annoying infants, mothers are buzzing and annoying infants...your fairly standard day, really.]
[Then, from no particular direction, a funny sort of whooshing noise starts, and slowly, a blue box that vaguely resembles a telephone booth (at least to the American eye) begins to fade into view.]
[Once it appears to be solid, there is a moment of pure silence in the park. Then the door opens, and a man in a nice brown pinstriped suit looks out. He is wearing white Converse and a huge shit-eating grin, and looks to be in his thirties.]
Brilliant!
[Then he waves at a toddler, who is staring at him with wide eyes.]
Hello! I'm the Doctor.
((OOC: The TARDIS will be parked here until further notice, as the Doctor's place of residence. Feel free to come by and knock, either here or at his journal, as he'd love to see you. For those unfamiliar with the TARDIS (or those who are unaware of its latest interior design), feel free to poke around the BBC's detailed website.))

She looks at the doctor, you'd think I'd be suprised wouldn't you? I'm Paige, nice suit, *she smiles*
*Paige then thinks to herself why does this not suprise me? This new school has messed up my normal reactions to stuff, but then I am a witch, I think*

It might.

*She looks at the TARDIS* Do you live in there? You can't have much stuff!

*She stops and watches a man walk out of a ... big blue box*
*Wishing she was already asleep but unable to stop herself asking she walks up to him*
What do you call that?

[succeeds, sorta]
Hello. Greetings. I'm the Doctor. And yes, I am taking flat--er--TARDISmates, though only faculty and staff. [looks Spock over] But I saw that you'll be teaching, so that's no worry. And it's not as if I don't have plenty of space. [laughs slightly]
Do you have your things with you? Because then we can move you in and get everything sorted.
((OOC: I LOVE using the word 'sorted'. LOVE IT.))

[scribbles down some numbers, hands the paper to Spock]
Unfortunately, since the interior of the TARDIS is...dimensionally awkward, we'll have to...er...beam...your belongings here outside and then move them in. Is that alright?

Thank you. If you would be so kind as to help me push these into my living area, I can begin the unpacking process. I am looking forward to conversing with you Doctor, I would like to know more about your travels. Have you ever encountered any transdimentional beings with delusions of godhood? One of them killed my brother and attempted to murder myself and two of my friends... [conversation trails off as they move into the Tardis]
(OOC: yay, I'm going to living in a Tarids with the Doctor!!! *grins*)
