OOC Question: Location (sorry!)

First off, major apologies for this being OOC, but I'm still working on posting access to fandomhigh_ooc.

Second off, apologies for the headache that I know this question is going to cause, particularly for all our hard-working and awesome maintainers/mods/volunteer workers...

Thirdly off, the question: Is there anyway of generating a map (even just a rudimentary one) of where all off-campus establishments are in relation to each other/the campus? It might not be that important, ultimately, but if there were going to be one, might as well start it now before even more businesses pop up.

Thanks :) I just started noticing that people were mentioning placement of locations (like the park across from the bookstore) and that it could get complicated later when someone suggests, "let's go next door" and an argument breaks out as to what, exactly, really is next door ;-)

I don't know of anyone offhand who wants to do it - anyone is welcome to try it or to coordinate existing businesses/locales.

Thanks! I bought the movie a week ago and have watched it 3 times... twice in one day. I missed the initial signup and couldn't wait for enrollment to open again because of the hankering I had to play Kiki :) She's so fun! -and also terribly intimidated by Prof Jareth's first assignment for Manipulation, Myth and Magic.

Personally, I think throwing Isaac in there would be an insult to everyone, as he uses powers simmilar to those every day, especially in combat.

That's the handy thing with Kiki: simple country girl, charmingly innocent, and also needs a lot of work and training to become a full-witch - so Jareth's class is right up her alley. I'm playing her about a year post-Delivery Service, so she's 15, has finished her year of training, plus a bit more, and is ready to move on to a more structured form of education.

I'm really waiting for someone to come in as Snape (I'm really surprised no one has yet) to teach potions - which of course, Kiki is horrible at although her mom is a whiz!

Though there is always room for improvement, I suppose...maybe I'll throw him into that class and get him out from the class he's taking that STILL has him asking questions about what the teacher is trying to teach. I think I'll do that...

And, Snape would be a great idea, but I wouldn't have time for him, sorry... ^_^*

Yeah, I don't even know how I'm going to keep up with Kiki and still do things like...uh... finish my master's and graduate, for example. Hee! (fandomhigh) is total crack already!) I've never RP'd online, so it should be an interesting experience.

Check over at fandomhigh_ooc - there should be a post over there from a_phale regarding collaberation on the map :) I agree the info page would be the best place for it - or at the very least, a link to the post on it from the town info page.

The main reason I posted it here is because I had already posted my idea for an image map here. I was just stating that I'd be willing to do the work for it, since I am a web designer and whatnot as a hobby, anyway, and I feel the moderators have too much on their plates as it is, so to speak.

I think so. I could probably figure it out. What do you have in mind, as far as putting this together? Are you wanting to take care of it yourself, including designing the initial layout of the town, or would you like me to do that part?
