Championship Vinyl, 9-30
Without anything in particular to do, Angela has wandered into town and started her shift at Championship Vinyl a few hours early. After checking in with Rob, she puts Throwing Muses' "University" album in the store CD player and sits behind the counter, working on her reading for government class and sipping an iced mocha.

Wow, a record store. Very cool.
She approaches the counter and clears her throat a little. "Umm, hey," she says amiably.

"Hey! I haven't seen you since the church.
What's up? Anything I can, like, help you find?"
no subject
She shrugs and smiles. "Not a lot. I have mornings off since I'm not in class yet and I don't go in to work until four-thirty, so I've pretty much got the whole day to myself," she murmurs.

"You work at Deb's, right? I keep meaning to go there, but I haven't had a chance."
no subject
"Yeah, I do," she says, nodding. "Waitress... and, I guess I kinda work in the vintage shop part, too, even though we don't really get too many customers."
no subject
She thinks for a minute. "What kind of vintage do you have?"
no subject
She pauses, chewing on her bottom lip for a moment as she thinks. "We've got a lot of stuff from the 60s, 70s and 80s," she says pensively. After a moment, she chuckles. "We might have some stuff from the 50s, too, but I haven't really gotten a chance to look around for myself, much."

[OOC: I'm talking to Rory about this in another thread right now.]

School supples
Angela smiles. "You'll be fine. Most of the classes here are easy. The only bad thing is that most of them are small, so you get ... all this individual attention. Which sucks when you just want to sit there and zone out or whatever."
"Anyhow, I'm sorry you missed enrollment."

"Oh, here-- here's my number (http://www.livejournal.com/users/shane_mcc/477.html). You can just call whenever you want and leave a message or something if I don't answer." She steps back up to the counter, grabs a pen from a mason jar sitting beside the register and scribbles her number on the corner of a newspaper laying nearby. Tearing the corner off, she hands it over to Angela. "I'll seeya later, Angela."

"How was your day?"

Marty refers to the overstuffed backpack.
"Got a project due next week for sociology and you know... our new project. I also did a followup visit at the clinic. Overall a pretty dull day. Until now."
Of course my voice mail is filled with two girls talking about homecoming dresses, I'm not sure how that happened.no subject
"I noticed your campaigning -- I still don't get the whole student government thing, but I like your platform. I think."
"Oh, and I think I may have found something out for our project from Aziraphale. I'll tell you later."
"And you know you loved it.no subject
"Yeah well, the campaign may take a strange turn later tonight. So what exactly do you do here? Organize records and hope someone comes in? I hope you don't get paid by commission."
no subject
"And yeah, I pretty much just sort records and do my homework. Sometimes Gordon comes down and forces me to make a list, and that's my excitement for an hour or so. The rest of the time, I'm just hoping somebody interesting will show up."

"As for interesting people ... well, Shane, from the diner. And you. I think you're my favorite."

"Good to know," he says with a faltering smile. "I just realized I haven't seen you all day. May sound silly, but I missed seeing you."
