Tex opens up the shop later than usual. She isn't wearing her armour for once.

Edward walks into the shop he doesn't know and looks around for someone to help him.

This is certainly interesting. Tex moves to stand behind the counter and watches the kid who just entered. She wishes she had her helmet on so she could study him more briefly, it's hard to hide her interest in his hands.

Edward pokes around at some more stuff before he sees Tex. He waves and says: "you don't mind me looking around, do you? I've never been in this shop before" and smiles shyly.

Tex raises an eyebrow and pushes the brochures on the counter towards him. "That's all there is to see, kid." She says, tapping the brochures. She's right, the rest of the store is completely bare of anything. "Must say, it seems you've got your weapons with you."

"Oh, i don't know...according to school they don't count as weapens, so i can eh...carry them with me. They're like, my hands, you see?" Ed says, and stutters a bit. He raises his hands somewhat to show them. "What's in the brochures?"

"Weapons," Tex says, her eyes still on his hands as she flips to a random page with descriptions of the S2 AM Sniper Rifle (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_weapons_in_Halo:_Combat_Evolved#S2_AM_Sniper_Rifle). "I don't care what your school says, you can rip someone open with those things," she doesn't sound too bothered about it, though. There's actually a strange glint in her eyes as she seems to contemplate the idea. "They're your hands? Not just gloves?"

"ehh...rip someone open? Well, eh...well. They're not gloves. I can't take them off. 's really unpractical though, i can never hold the soap in the shower" Ed thinks for a moment why he used that example. "i heard you sell goggles?" he asks, to change the subject.

The brothers rolled up and parked their bikes out side to wait while Yazoo went into the shop. Taken aback that she was out of her body armor, he was quiet for a bit before he greeted her. "Hey," he said finally.

"Hey," Tex raised an eyebrow, noticing his hesitance. "What can I do for you today?"

"Business," He said, pulling some paper out of his leathers. He smoothed them out on the counter and passed them over to her. Three pages, each one with the image of a gunblade. "These are what I found that would work. I found some antiques, too, if you're interested."

"Antiques have their charm," Tex said with a small smile to Yazoo as she bowed down over the images. Her attention was now fully on the gunblades and she traced a finger along the blade of the second one. "I won't have a problem to use the trigger when I'm in armour?" She asked as she looked up at Yazoo again.

Yazoo smiled and tilted his head. "That's what modifications are for. We can measure it and I'll extend it." He looked at her hands, which didn't have the armor covering them. "I think it'll need modifying."

He pulled the image back around and tapped at it. "We'll need enlarge the grip too, so it doesn't get lost in your palm," he said thoughtfully. "Which works since that's where the powerpack will have to go."

"Makes sense," Tex nodded and straightened up a bit, moving somewhat awkwardly. "I like the blade on that one," she said indicating the second picture. "I don't think I'm the griffin type."

John walks in, wondering what kind of weapon shop opens in a town with a weapons ban school. and how much loot he can get away with

For a school with a weapons ban, Tex has been doing some good business. Even if most people seem interested in the gas masks. Leaning on teh counter, Tex raises an eyebrow as she watches John enter. "What do you want, kid?"

"I'm interested in a personal security system, possibly in a .45 or 12 gauge. Also, I'm running low on ammo at the range, and I was wondering what kind of stock you have."

"My stock is what I have from my own world," Tex says as she motions to the two (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_weapons_in_Halo:_Combat_Evolved) brochures (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_weapons_in_Halo_2) on the counter. "I'm not too familiar with this world's weapons, but if you give me the right info I'm pretty sure I can get my hands on it in a day or two. Same for the ammo."

John peruses the wares.
"Hrm. How's the recoil on the MD6? Weight?"

"How's the sniper on tracking?"

"Hrm... plasma pistol... interesting. Do you have a video or simulation of how these work? What's the ship time for orders?"

John gave her the info on the ammo and asked for prices.

"4.5 Lbs. and it has a low recoil. You should be able to handle it," she said with a small sneer. "The standard scope comes with a 10x zoom, long eye relief, telescopic sight, and detachable mount."

"There's no shiptime for any of the orders, unless you're planning to arm a small army. If you want to see how it works, I have a range to try them out. I'll need your name first, though."

She looked over the list of the ammo and gave him the estimated price for it. "I can have it here in two days. I'll just need your name and an adress so I can contact you when they come in."

After class, Aeryn heads into the store, knowing better than to try looking around.

Tex grins as she sees Aeryn enter. "Come to get your rifle back?"

"I figured you were through with it," Aeryn says, nodding.

"I would have called you sooner, but your boyfriend wanted to surprise you." Tex replies with a shrug, she doesn't mention she made him pay for her keeping quiet. "Those were the weapons you were looking for?"

"Those were exactly it. Thank you." She had her little panic attack yesterday, so today is a test in dealing with how badly she probably frelled herself over.

Tex nods and watches Aeryn carefully. "You don't seem as excited as I thought you might," she remarks before moving to the armoured door and opening it up.
