"Money's usually worth it," Tex says with a smirk as she palms the panel and moves back into the store. "Even if they're very lucky I haven't hit some of them over the head yet."

"I sure hope that pirate isn't dumb enough to try and bug this place," she remarks as she puts everything in the case and adds the mask. "A small contribution might help me forget to do my paperwork this evening."

"Well, in that case, how's about I double the price of the mask and you forget my name?" He opens with a fair bargaining offer.

"I like this place. Very efficient. Very homey."

"Sounds good enough to me," Tex agrees with a nod. She grins at his remark. "It works, don't need to waste my time on interior decorating."
