Caritas--OPEN
Jarod was once again standing behind the bar, wondering if tonight was going to be more like last Monday, which had been relatively quiet, or like last Wednesday, when they'd been very busy.
He checked the ice, the glasses, the napkins, the snacks, duct taped the bass player's arm back on, and unlocked the doors.

Sing with the Band
Re: Sing with the Band
The music for 'Go West' by the Village People started up and Kawalsky grabbed a microphone and handed the other one to Cam.
"Together! We will go our way!" He nodded at Cam.

"There lived a certain man in Russia long ago
He was big and strong, in his eyes a flaming glow
Most people looked at him with terror and with fear
But to Moscow chicks he was such a lovely dear
He could preach the bible like a preacher
Full of ecstasy and fire
But he also was the kind of teacher
Women would desire . . ."

He waited until the stage was vacated, then grabbed a stool from nearby and put it in the middle of the stage, told the band what he was going to sing, picked up the microphone and sat down.
He spoke into the microphone as the band got ready. "It's my birthday today. I was trying to avoid it, but around here it's not easy to avoid stuff." He got the thumbs up from the zombie band (or, he would have if the zombie had a thumb on that hand). "So anyway. Here's a self-involved number from Sinatra."
The music for 'How Old Am I?' by Frank Sinatra started up.
"How old am I? I'm old enough to know
The difference between infatuation and love that has a chance to grow.
How old am I? I'm not too old to hear the sweet ring of truth and understanding.
When the world I love you reach my ears,
Don't mind these lines beneath my heart,
They're well earned souvenirs of a thousand nights
Of laughter and occasional tears.
And I hope you won't be jealous of the silver in my hair,
It took many lover's quarrels to put it there.
How old am I? You kiss me and I'm young,
Love's a road never traveled, life's a song I've never sung,
If I make you happy today, I'm the perfect age,
As for tomorrow, turn the page.."
