Kiki can be seen through the window, sipping tea and shelving books when she's not distracted by reading them instead.

Not having stopped by in a while, Aayla decides to visit Aziraphale. She walks into the store, the bell gently jingling behind her. Seeing Kiki, she smiles.
"Hello, Kiki. Is Mr. Phale around?"

Kiki returns the smile, "Hello, Aayla! I'm afraid Mr. Aziraphale isn't likely to be available today. He's feeling a little under the weather. If you want, I can let him know you stopped by."

Aayla looks a little concerned by the news. "Do you know what happened? Will he be ok?"

"I believe he's just a bit tired - or so he says," Kiki says reassuringly, although she herself is pretty concerned. "But I know he will be very cheered to know you were asking after him."

Aayla smiles politely. "I hope so. Yes, please let him know that I stopped by and I hope his health returns soon. Could you also inform him that I'm returning to the Jedi Temple for a few days? Take care of yourself, too, Kiki." she says, grinning cheerfully at the girl.

"I surely will," Kiki answers. "Have a safe trip, ok?"

[He steps back in from smoking his cigarette while watching the sunset. Late autumn sunsets are one of many wonders that he enjoys, but would never say anything about. Now that it's dark, any manner of folk could wander into the shop] ((hint hint Darla))

Darla approaches the shop. On Lilah's recommendation, she was checking it out to see if it -- or the people within it -- had any useful information. From the little she could see from stepping inside the door, it looked like a cozy -- nearly twee -- bookstore. She was ready to dismiss it as useless.

[Sitting, languishing more like, in his chair by the tea table, he looks up at the lovely vision who has stepped through the door.]

Darla, my lovely, I haven't seen you outside of your suite in an age? To what do I owe this honor?

[She smiles at him in a practiced manner, pulling his name from a brief meeting.] Mr. Crowley? I didn't know you worked here as well. And what brings me here is simple curiosity. I was told that this was an extraordinary place.

[He snorts derisively] I don't work, pet. I drink tea and bother the few customers who can tolerate that little brat and the sad little man who isn't here today. Would you like some tea, my Darla? I am an excellent host...and it's not even mine. [He smiles harshly at her.]

You toil not, neither do you spin? I'd love some tea. Thank you. [She trails her fingers along the backs of books on the nearest shelf, examining them idly. One catches her attention briefly, and she turns to Crowley.] May I? [Indicating the book.]

While Mr. Crowley and Darla are talking, Kiki quietly lays out some shortbread cookies on a plate and pours two cups of tea. She walks slowly and carefully up the stairs, away from the temptation of eavesdropping further on what was becoming a rather alarming conversation. She wished she could carry the tray and cross her fingers at the same time in hopes that Mr. Crowley wouldn't let the shop get wrecked. Darla had already cracked one of the tea cups as it was. Kiki intended to speak to Mr. Crowley about that.

Kiki taps gently on Mr. Aziraphale's door. She's a little nervous about coming upstairs. This is Mr. Aziraphale's personal, private space. "Mr. Aziraphale?" she asks softly through the door. "Mr. Aziraphale, I brought you some tea."

"Come in, Kiki, please." Aziraphale's voice is soft but easily heard through the door. When Kiki enters, he's sitting propped up on the bed, reading.

Balancing the tray carefully on one hand, Kiki closes the door behind her again. "Fresh tea," she repeats cheerfully, "and cookies. If you want them - I could get you soup instead if you'd like something not chock-full of sugar. How are you feeling?"

Aziraphale smiles brightly. "Thank you, my dear. Cookies sound lovely. And I'm feeling a great deal better. I'm hoping to convince Crowley to let me go out and sit in the park a bit later this evening."

"Oh, good!" Kiki answers enthusiastically. "I'm glad you're doing better. I'm not disturbing you, am I? I was worried you might be getting lonely up here."
