Wonka's Sweets Shoppe

Tonks is in the middle of the shoppe, unpacking a small carton of classic Wonka Bars into a rather large pyramid. She had a suspicion that the pyramid would be knocked over by the end of the week. Most likely by herself. She would probably beam if someone proved the latter false.

(OOC: Mun is a bit busy, so slowplay might be expected. If you're impatient, feel free to ping her on AIM.)

After classes: around noon

Maia came into the shop. "Hi Tonks." She said her smiled brighter then the last time she had seen Tonks.

Maia nodded "Its going good. How are you?" Maia looked over at the pyramid and stepped back not wanting to knock it over or for that matter breath on it. "Nice." She said walking carefully.

Maia tilted her head and looked at it "You could maybe like, make it all like shine gold or something..." Maia giggled "I dunno, your wand could make it do something huh?" Maia always enjoyed seeing Tonks do magic.

Maia looked intrigued "Look it up? Like a spell book?" Maia smiled then excited "Can I see?"

Maia looked thrilled hardly able to contain a squeal of excitment. Grinning all over again "Oh goodness, I almost forgot why I came. I need some chocolates for a little girl."

Maia giggled "Well I have already introduced her to gummy bears and so I told her I would bring her chocolates next time." Tilting her head she smiled wickedly at Tonks for a moment "So what do big girls like for candy?"

Maia smiled happily. "well then I'll take some chocolates and some candy jewelry. What kind of candy jewelry? So I can be the favorite person I mean." Maia's eyes seemed to dance as she said this.

Maia glanced behind her and walked over to the shelf of candy jewelry. Looking it over for several long minutes she selected a necklace and two rings all different flavors and then a strawberry bracelet for Tonks. Walking back over to the counter where Tonks was Maia seperated out what she was buying sticking the apple flavored candy ring on her own finger and sliding the bracelet to Tonks.

Maia nodded looking at the ring for a minute, she had never had candy jewelry before and was not sure what to really do with it. It was edible sure but did you just eat it while it was on you or did you just wait and wear it without tasting it. She smiled at Tonks, "Can you wrap the chocolates up?" She watched Tonks with curiosity to see if she was going to eat the bracelet or not.

Maia carefully breaks a piece off her ring and pops it into her mouth with a smile of a child discovering a new toy. She looked down at the paper and giggled "I love it thank you Tonks." She said taking the package. She started to lean over to hug Tonks but stopped short. She stepped back slightly and glanced around the shop thoughtfully, "Do you have a teddy bear? To sort of attach to it."

After school

Ivanova walks into the shoppe, looking, well, miserable. She's wearing a bulky sweater and has that seedy 'I-haven't-eaten-in-three-days-cause-I've-been-sick' sort of look. She avoids the pyramid of chocolate with an ungainly sidestep. "Hey, Tonks."

Ivanova tried to dismiss it with a flippant wave, which turned into most of a limp flail. "Sadly, no alcohol was involved in my weekend. It was just me, some really strong cold medicine, and MacLeod." She paused. "Not the teacher. The one with the . . . romance. Novels." She squeezed her eyes shut briefly. "That didn't come out so well."

Ivanova smiled. "I'm so glad you asked. MacLeod, while being the gym teacher at the school, is also . . ." she pulls a paperback out of her bag, the title 'Blade of the MacLeods' emblazoned above the picture of a ruggedly handsome and impossibly muscled man in a kilt with flowing black hair, and the requisite blonde buxom woman swooning in his arms, her dress scandalously loose at the neck. ". . . this." Ivanova looked a little embarrassed and shrugged. "I know, real classy reading material. I have a sneaking fondness for them. Escapism, I guess."

Ivanova grinned. "You do, too?" She extends the book. "Here. Borrow this one. It's pretty good. I'm on the third in the series." She paused, thinking, and then moaned. "Oh god. Fourth. I have no life," she lamented, burying her face in her hands.

"Oooh," Ivanova cooed, flipping it open. A brief perusal of a few pages revealed four uses of the word 'throbbing', three of 'engorged', and a dazzling seven of 'turgid'. "I'm impressed. Thank you." She sniffled and pulled out a tissue, blowing her nose. "Sorry. Still sick."

Ivanova peered over, trying to read upsidedown. "Oh, that bit." She grinned. "It gets better. Much better."

Ivanova tucked the intriguing magical porn erotica smut romance novel away in her bag. "Hey, Tonks, I was wondering, since I kind of blew you off for the weekend, if you wanted to . . . do something. Tomorrow, though. I have an evening class tonight. Go to the pub or bowling. Or something."

She winced at the scatteredness of her request.

Ivanova beamed. "Great! You pick the place and I'll . . . show up." She sniffled. "Hopefully fully human again."

Ivanova smiled. "Thanks, Tonks." She wiped her nose and began to hand it back before stuffing it in her pocket. "I'll clean it. Don't want you getting sick, too. I seem to be saying 'Thanks, Tonks' a lot today."

"I will." She glanced towards the door. "Since it looks like it's pretty slow, I think I'll head back to my room and, well, sleep. See you tomorrow?"

[[Which, though the magic of slowplay, is today - right? *is confusing herself*]]

[[Now I just want to sleep. >.< Tomorrow? Ivanova has night class. Driver's Ed. But after that, she's free.]]

Han comes in and snags the top bar of the pyramid without bringing it down.

He picks up a couple more types of chocolate. It had helped a little when he was a girl. Maybe it would help now.

"Hey, Tonks. Kissed any more unsuspecting boys under the mistletoe?"

[identity profile] 12parseckessel.livejournal.com 2006-01-17 04:15 am (UTC)(link)
"I'm flattered." He sets the chocolate on the counter. "I think that'll do it." he gives a wry grin. "The only part of being a girl I haven't completely managed to shake: a taste for chocolate."

[identity profile] 12parseckessel.livejournal.com 2006-01-18 12:14 am (UTC)(link)
He shakes his head. "No, I guess not. Sometimes, there's nothing to do but sit in your room and eat chocolate, you know?"
