The lights flicker and go out in Caritas.

Lorne is not happy.

Jake, who's been boozing up at the bar for most of the afternoon let's off a small burp.

"We still get paid, right?"

Atop the roof, Artie was shivering something fierce.

"C-c-c-c-con-s-s-s-s--" He straightened and adjusted his hat. "Oh, forget it."

And he leaped off the building and staggered into the wind and snow, most likely trying to get to his porta-home.

Whether or not he noticed the power was out was debatable.
