The nice thing about turnip roses? They don't really wilt or lose their petals.

Baldrick is in the stock room attempting to determine just what "Turtle Wax" is used for. He might have a very shiny turtle back there with him.

Edmund is behind the counter continuing to read about the English monarchy. The subject matter seems to have him in an excellent mood.

Ah, the water gun girl.

"Is there anything I can help you find?" Silly question with All and Sundries' version of shelf organization.

"I'm amazed you can find anything in here. I need about . . . two liters of glitter? And a bucket."

"Would a one gallon container of glitter suffice for your needs?" Edmund led her to the back corner where the art supplies were clustered. On the bottom shelf were containers of glitter that resembled one gallon milk jugs.

He summoned Baldrick to get a bucket from the pile teetering precariously on a top shelf in another aisle.

The sound of a man falling and the clatter of a dozen plastic buckets landing around and on him can be heard a few minutes later.

Nadia selected a gallon jug of multi-colored glitter with a nod, then startled at the crashing. She peered around. "Is, um, he okay?"

Baldrick with standard comedic timing clumped around the corner with a bucket on his head and one stuck on his left food.

He held another bucket out to Edmund. "Here you go, sir."

Edmund eyed Baldrick before commenting, "It's a good look for him, although I look forward to testing my theory that rigor mortis is the best style for his build."

Nadia reeled back at the stench, not even trying to be polite about it. "Oh." She offered Baldrick a very weak smile and started for the front of the store to pay.

Edmund shooed Baldrick back to pick up the buckets and followed Nadia back to the front to ring up her purchases.

"Will there be anything else?"

"No, that's all today." Nadia pulled out the fifty from Parker, but kept it clutched in her fist where it might not be immediately recognizable.

Perhaps it's the influence of being familiar with street bazaars, but she doesn't trust Blackadder not to jack the price up if he sees she has money. "How much?"

"That will be $23.43." He noted the girl's distrustful behavior and his estimation of her went up several notches.

Nadia winced internally at the price, but then Walter had offered to pay for part of it. She nodded and held out the fifty.

Blackadder took her cash (yay cash) and made change, handing over the money, her receipt and the bucket with the glitter container inside. "Art project? Glitter seems to be very popular with the students."

"Glitter is an important part of any education." Nadia grins. "Yes, I think you could call it an art project. Thanks."
