Artie appeared to be in no way subdued by the sudden departure of his employer.

It's possible he hadn't noticed it.

He opens Caritas with his usual flair and complimentary comments to the band.

Paige looks at 'Cole,' but doesn't say anything to him. She puts her arm round Phoebe, "you sure you want to go to the Arms there's room at Geoff if you want to crash there with me? And believe me I have no intention of going anywhere the attics for a while."

Christian looked between Paige and Phoebe. "Who's Cole?"

"My ex-boyfriend," Phoebe mumbles hiding her face on her sister's shoulder.

Paige nods, "It's okay Phoebe, it looks just like him, you weren't to know," she glares at Christian then, "come on lets get out of here sis."

"She's the one who threw herself at me," Christian said. "And I thought she was at least 21 since she's been drinking."

"She thought you were someone else," Paige replies angrily, geez were all the man from the this half of the Millenium jackasses or what?

"And we're kinda outside time and space here, so the legal drinking limit I guess is wavered."

((and I must flee to bed, sorry, also I can't believe I typed that Christian was 40! He doesn't look a day over 30!))

There may be some internal flailing now, she can't rationalise her anger other than the fact that this guy has just upset her sister, and in Paige's eyes that's enough.

"You just were okay!" she replies with a little feebly

"I didn't realize psychic powers were part of this job," Christian said dryly. "Look, sweetheart, I'm sorry your sister thought I was somebody else. Maybe she should cut back on the drinking. It's not good for a girl her age."

Okay now there's something Paige really can't comment on given her past relationship with alcohol, and no she did not just drink a shot of tequila!

"Well she's had reason to drink okay? But I'm sorry I got angry, we stick to together. You upset her that makes me mad, but I'm sorry. It's nothing personal."
