Lana shows up. "Hey, here you are." She hugs Phoebe. "Shep's going to be along a little later."

Phoebe hugs Lana. "Cool. Did he tell you about our assignment for Grissom's class Tuesday?"

Lana looks at her warily. "Noooo... I haven't actually seen him since then. I had my Medieval English History test at the same time and I was so relieved once it was over that I went back to my room and promptly fell asleep till about 3 this morning. And today we just talked through voice mail. Though..." Lana looks a bit more intrigued now.

"Han *did* propose to me today - for that class."

"Lana...I'm marrying Shep for that class. He, Paige and I are in a group together."

Lana is taken aback by the wave of jealousy she feels. And it's so stupid, really. For so many reasons. Not the least of which is that it's *fake*. And *she's* marrying Han in another one. And of all the people in the school, Phoebe is certainly the one she'd feel most comfortable having her boyfriend do a pretend ceremony with.

All of these emotions play across her face as she tries to decide how to respond. "Wow, she says finally. "So, I'm marrying Han and you're marrying Shep. It's going to be an interesting class."

She smiles at Phoebe and tries for a little levity. "Maybe we can all go away on our honeymoons together.

Weevil spots the two girls at the bar. "Can I get either of you anything?"

"You got it," Weevil said, placing the drink on the bar in front of her.

Weevil glances at the girl closely. "You look familiar."

GOB walked up and placed a birdcage on the bar. "I'll have a Scotch. Mind if this stays here? It's for my act."

Weevil places a Scotch on the bar in front of GOB and blinks at the birdcage. "Whatever."

"Thanks, man," GOB said. "Ow." Stupid birds had to stop pecking inside his jacket. He thought that doves were supposed to be peaceful animals. You'd never know it from the past few days.

The Final Countdown played, GOB strutted out still wearing his suit jacket. Cards were tossed, hankies were waved, a knife was held, all the usual.

And then, after the standard intro, GOB stood in the middle of the stage and pointed to the birdcage on the bar. He threw his jacket open with a strategic burst of smoke from the stage and three doves flew toward the cage!

Only one went inside, though. One of the others went straight to the door. The third one turned around and dove at GOB's face. Upon hitting his forehead, the bird was transported outside by the protection spell.

The bird who DID go into the cage, however, sat there patiently. Suddenly a burst of smoke came from the cage! When it cleared, the dove was gone.

Since Tino wasn't fast enough, however, the NPC bartender was caught still holding the bird.

GOB shook his head, walked over to the bar, and told Tino to put the bird back in the cage. He then took the cage and left. He had better things to work on tonight.
