Lucas does some quick clean up in the store before he opens it, and discovers an odd bush between racks of CDs.

So he dusts it off, sets up the stereo, and opens the store.

Today's music mix: all Leningrad Cowboys, all the time. He especially likes the album with the Russian National Orchestra providing back-up.

Agatha hummed as she worked. Yesterday, she was on a date. That was a first. Today she needed to finish up the 'surprise' before she headed to the party, and it was currently not done. In fact, whatever it was was disassembled into a large number of pieces currently. A dingbot was puttering about with some pulleys.

[come in, interrupt, buy things, get things repaired, yeah]

Poking around the junkyard was not exactly how Anders planned to spend his Friday after lunch. Then again, Anders never really plans out how he's going to spend his days, other than classes and the fact that Friday is Official Date Night.

Which will happen later today. After he showers, because he's going to need it once he's done here.

But for now, Anders is a boy on a Mission, and he's not going to stop until he finds what he's looking for, or so he tells himself.

Too bad he didn't think about how he plans to get what he's looking for back up to campus, assuming he finds it.

[OOC: Come. Ask him what he's doing. Make fun of him.]

A sign appears on the front door of the apartment building, held up with entirely too much tape, reading,

PARTY
PARTY
PARTY

and below, in a thick hand, an emphatic, 'CEILIDH'. More signs point the way towards Orlin's apartment and the party.

Note to Self: Just because you're dead doesn't mean you heal like a vampire.

Lilah opened the office, having left immediately after the snowmonster attack to be tortured cared for by the Wolfram and Hart medical personnel. At least her jaw was fixed.

Then she checked her messages. One from the receptionist to the Senior Partners--the slayer had left town. "Okay." Another one from the receptionist--Darla and Drusilla had been hunted by a bunch of crazy kids and Angel. "Huh." A third one--there'd been confusion at the dealership and the motorcycles hadn't been delivered to Tex yet. "Shit, that's bad."

Then the fourth. "Arrested? What the hell kind of moron arrests a vampire?"

She left a quick note on the door in the unlikely event that anyone stopped by, and headed towards the police station.

An old woman dressed in a shapeless black dress and a pointed black hat with a wide brim may be spotted posting flyers around the town.

After a morning of more cleaning and moving and planning (with the door shut and the blind drawn to avoid distraction), Giles decided he was thoroughly tired of his own cooking. He threw on a jacket, locked the door of Aereopagitica, checked the map the Upper Council gave him, and walked toward the bakery. He might have thought he'd heard some commotion at one point, but he'd been haggling with a supplier in Katmandu.

I wonder if there really is a biscuit god in this dimension or if they're just being funny... It was a testament to his assimilation in Fandom that Giles considered both possibilities equally valid.

Jenny sat down with a cup of coffee and--for once--a novel. Office hours were done, and she was caught up on all her grading. Time to sit down and take a breather.

It had been an uneventful week. Batou had kept mostly to himself, tending to the shop or various chores when Zhaan asked, but otherwise minding his own business.

Today, however, his antisocial behavior had gotten him summarily kicked out by his blue, and very irate hostess, who had decided (correctly, though he wasn't about to admit it) that he was being reclusive on purpose.

Was it his fault if he would have rather been chasing down terrorists and deranged psychos than sitting in this backwater of a town?

With a sigh, he'd pulled on his coat, grabbed Gabriel's leash, and was now sitting in the park with a newspaper and a cigarette.

Gabriel was eying the ducks with dog equivalent of suspicion.

The sign is still hanging out by the window.

Alfred has decided, on reflection, to remove the candles until a sprinkler system can be installed.

[[OCD threads coming up. Also, mun is being dragged away to have a RL social life and will not be avaialbe after 10:00ish CST]]

Peter was sitting in J,GoB, staring at the camera he was given for a Journalism project. He had sold some pictures of Spider-Man to the Bugle before. They sucked, but nobody else had a picture of Spider-Man at the time, so it had gotten him to the Bugle's office. From there he got a job on the website. From there, he became interested in journalism and ended up taking this class that gave him this camera. Weird how that works.

Anyway, he was eating a donut at the moment.

[OOC: Interaction with Peter locked to someone who knows who they are. Otherwise, use for your evening biscuit worshipping needs.]

Becky went out for her evening smoke, walking contentedly through the park.

There was something slightly different about her. Something in the form of a white bird with a string tied to its leg and fastened to her wrist.

The dove happily pecked the hell out of the sleeve of her second-favorite leather jacket as Becky merrily smoked while strolling.

It was a good evening.

[ooc: Open for all your parkish needs, though Becky's here for one person in particular. Dun dun dun.]

The siege on the Sin was lifted as Tex, her troopers and a figure covered by a blanket moved out into the street. It wasn't too hard to guess who was underneath the blanket if you had heard the radio. There was no time for questions, the troopers moved fast and a little while later, Darla was shoved into a cell inside the station.

Tex tilted her head and watched the vampire. If it was up to her, she'd just stake her and be done with it. Appo however insisted that wasn't how things were supposed to work in a democracy. Then again, it wasn't like Tex got elected or anything.

((This is where you go if you need to talk to Darla. Don't expect to get a warm welcoming from Tex, though.))
