The Park, after sunset

Becky went out for her evening smoke, walking contentedly through the park.

There was something slightly different about her. Something in the form of a white bird with a string tied to its leg and fastened to her wrist.

The dove happily pecked the hell out of the sleeve of her second-favorite leather jacket as Becky merrily smoked while strolling.

It was a good evening.

[ooc: Open for all your parkish needs, though Becky's here for one person in particular. Dun dun dun.]

Peter had to go back to his room and retrieve his digital camera for his little mission (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomtownies/621658.html?thread=24167002#t24167002) since his Journalism camera apparently wouldn't work with computers.

He wasn't sure where to look for Crazy Hooker, but he figured the Park would be a good place to start. And sure enough...

"Hey, CH! You're just the person I was hoping to see tonight you lovely homicidal maniac, you!" Peter said. "Wait, that should have been nicer. I meant good evening. I was hoping to see you around."

"No. You're right. I've met maniacs before. You're just a little nuts," Peter admitted. "Crap. Again. Not very nice."

"I have to take some pictures of people for my journalism class. I'm doing a study on doubles around Fandom and I was hoping to get you and my friend Rory in there."

"Maybe I would. But when somebody tries to shoot you, repeatedly, when you first meet them, it tends to bias you," Peter said. "Sorry."

"Would you be a part of my project, though? I swear, your picture will look much better than Rory's."

Peter stared at the bird for a moment. "Sure. It's a very nice-looking bird. It'll make any picture better," he said. "If you want, I'll even make sure you get a copy of the picture."

Peter held up his camera. "Say 'cheese.' Or, you know, squawk in the bird's case."

Peter took the picture. "Thank you. And for that, I promise not to call you 'crazy' anymore."

"Um. Actually, I'm not even sure anyone has told me your name," Peter lied. To him, she'd always be Crazy Hooker.

"No, actually, she just referred to her prostitute doppelganger. Then the nickname 'Crazy Hooker' came up. And then the only time we've mentioned you since was when you shot at me, reaffirming the 'Crazy Hooker' nickname." Peter shrugged. "But, hey, if you want me to keep calling you 'CH' in lieu of a real name, that's fine."

[identity profile] peter--parker.livejournal.com 2006-02-11 02:09 am (UTC)(link)
"Yeah, I know, the creepy guy with the cards who asked me to take the picture of you mentioned it. Have a good night, Becky!" Peter said, fleeing.

Artie was bounding his way across Fandom. Spotting people in the park, he paused and posed.

"Quickly! There is a party! This way!"

And he bounds off again in the general direction of the apartments.
