Agatha woke up in a good mood, which was promptly ruined by the radio. But that didn't last long. She had work to do. Flipping the shop sign to Open, she pulled out the tools and started working for the surprise for the party. It was going to be great. Or at least entertaining.

She worked and waited for customers.

Dinner and a Movie--Evening

Orlin walked over to Clay's shop to pick her up for their dinner and a movie date. How exciting.

Orlin had cleaned himself up, had a shave, nice button down shirt, suave corderoy pants, hot jacket. And although he looked smooth, Orlin was definately terrified. His first real date ever, that he could remember anyways.

He walked into Agathas' shop and grinned, there she was, as cute as ever.

The Perk, Thursday Morning

Angela sat at a side table, picking at a muffin and paging through the Dorothy Parker omnibus she's been reading all week. Occasionally, she snickered aloud.

More often, she stared blankly at the pages, wishing the week would end already.

Baldrick is in the stock room attempting to determine just what "Turtle Wax" is used for. He might have a very shiny turtle back there with him.

Edmund is behind the counter continuing to read about the English monarchy. The subject matter seems to have him in an excellent mood.

Anyone walking past would notice movement in the still-empty store. Giles was shoving shelves around, cleaning, planning, and calling most of his book seller/library/museum contacts to order merchandise. Beethoven is playing in the background.

The Park: After-noon

Pippi has decided to take Old Man out for a ride.

With Mr. Neilson clutching onto Pippi's shoulder for dear life, Old Man is currently galloping around the Park like there's a Steeple Chase going on.

Pippi is keeping a sharp lookout for people and ducks to make sure nobody gets hurt. But for the most part, she's just encouraging Old Man to go fast and jump unoccupied park benches.

Tommy walked the streets of Fandom. There was only so much a guy could do on his own to try to reclaim an emergency clinic. He needed coffee. And donuts. Possibly a handful of slaves too, he wasn't sure about that yet.

Tommy opened the door to Jeff, God of Biscuits. "Gimme a jelly donut and a regular coffee."

Every few minutes she burst into giggles at the heroine, who was forced to become a prostitute and would ergo never be worthy of the hero's love.

The Park, Thursday Evening

Jarod walked around town, enjoying the dwindling sunlight as he watched it dip below the horizon. He hadn't seen nearly enough sunsets in his 18 (ish) years.

The cool breeze ran through his hair, and he put his hands in his pockets, idly fingering the small bottle of holy water he'd taken to keeping there. He still wasn't sure if a cross would work, since he didn't know his religion.
