Around 8 p.m., Angela takes a seat in a corner booth and orders coffee. She seems to be watching out the window for someone.

Luke walks over. "What can I get you?" he asks.

Then he looks at her. "Oh, hey, you're young again," he says. "You waiting for egg white boy?"

"Um, coffee, please. And -- do you have cake?," Angela asks. "And no. Not Marty. Someone else."

"I've got chocolate cake and a couple kinds of pie," he says, taking out his order pad.

"Chocolate cake sounds good," Angela said. "And thanks."

AShe hopes she won't get chocolate around her mouth. Maybe they can share it...

Artie bounded in in the evening. He posed by the door (possibly somehow aware through super-senses that he would not be terribly welcome with his bizarre behavior and wacky poses).

"Greetings! I come bearing news! News of a party! Follow me!"

And he bounds out.

Luke blinks and wonders if The Tick has a brother.

Logan held open the door to Luke's for Veronica. "After you," he said.

Veronica walked in and waved to Luke before leading Logan to the booth she and Marty always sat in.

"So are you okay from class?" she asked, concerned, as they got comfortable.

Logan waved his hand. "Fine," he said. "I've dealt with people like her before. Pain in the ass, yeah, but no big deal."

Angela glanced up from her cake to wave to Logan and veronica, then went back to looking out the window.

Jordan was only a little bit late. Really.

Luke walked over to the counter, cut her a slice of cake, grabbed the coffee and came back.

"Here you go," he said, putting the cake in front of her and filling her mug. "Let me know if you need anything else."

She took his hand and gave it a comforting squeeze. "It still sucks that she did that. Those questions were completely inappropriate."

She noticed Angela waving (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomtownies/622479.html?thread=24212111#t24212111). She waved back and then smiled at Logan.

Logan gave Angela a wave as well, then turned back to Veronica. "Whatever. I'm used to that crap. How was your day?"

"Better now," she said with a grin. "How about you?"

"Math class was cancelled, so I got to go back to bed. That was nice. Glad I'm here now, though," he said, and took her hands in his.

She smiled at him, but noticed Angela looking a little sad out of the corner of her eye.

"Hey," she said, leaning forward, "Angela looks kind of sad, we should invite her to join us."

Logan glanced over at Angela. "I'm sure she's fine," he said. "Probably meeting someone." He gave her hands a light squeeze and smiled at her.

"Hmm, maybe, but then why make her wait alone?"

Angela heard this and glanced back at them. "Hey," she said. "I'm fine. Seriously."

Logan looked at Angela, then back at Veronica. "Come on over, Angela. Haven't heard any gossip from the third floor lately. Wanna enlighten us?"

Angela scooted her chair closer to them. "Does anyone even hang out on three?," she wondered. "I mean, it's pretty much me, Callisto and Peter Parker that I know, and everything I've heard about them is old news."

"I wouldn't know, I'm woefully out of touch in the attic. I should have stayed in my old room," she said, giving Logan a wink.

"You can visit it anytime you want," Logan grinned.

Angela smiled. "Think Jake would like that?" she asked.

Discreetly, she checked her watch. Jurdan was 90 minutes late. Maybe he just got stuck on the Turnpike...

"Hey, if you guys don't mind, maybe I should just sit with you. My friend is pretty late. I mean, is that okay?"
