All and Sundries, 2/24

Edmund is behind the counter, as usual. He's still trying to figure out this computer thing and not particularly enjoying it. He came across a site with a Mr. Legume and was intensely annoyed by the man's idiocy. The physical resemblance was purely superficial, he assured himself.

All and Sundries is open.

As Orlin hasn't been in town, he hasn't come to bother the evil Englishman. Now he is rectifying that. Oh joy.

He starts browsing the aisles, obviously looking for something.

"Actually," Orlin said, "I'm ooking for kitten food, and a collar, and kitty leash."

"I suppose Icould do that." Orlin said, somewhat shamefacedly, and then he noticed the computer. Joy!

"New toy?" He asked, mischivously.

"I do," Orlin smiled widely at the mention of his kiten, " I found her while I was travelling these past few days."

And he looked at the closed laptop and smirked.

Orlin smiled, and walked to the pet supplies, then to the teas section and somehow managed to pick two amazing teas.

After taking an inordinately long time to pick what he wanted, Orlin walked up to pay. With a spring to his step.

Alas, silence means nothing. Orlin had lived in pretty much virtual silence for about five thousand years. Give or take.

So, there was a smile, and the handing over of the credit card.

"Could I get paper bags instead of plastic?" Orlin asked pleasantly, "They are more economically friendly."

Ahh, a silence contest. Mental shrug, he so doesn't do those anymore, so he smiles, and heads back to the apartment and his kitten.
"Have a good day," he calls pleasantly.
