All and Sundries, 2/25
Edmund has gotten in an odd special order. He was certain he hadn't ordered a robopet. What an entirely pointless item.
Which of course explains why he wasplaying with examining it.

She could use a new scarf.
She gives Edmund and the robo-pet a quizzical look. "Hello?"

"Um, I need a winter scarf. I lost mine. Do you have any?"

"Just this, and a pack of gum," she said, selecting some Doublemint.
Finally, she had to ask about the dog. "That's a robot, right?"

"Cupcake tins, a mixer, and a bowl and spatula, Baldrick." The short man thankfully disappears.
"The rest of your needs will be primarily in the baking and cooking aisle to the right. The eggs are in the cold case in the back," Edmund says in a civil manner. It hasn't been a bad day, after all, and he's possibly starting to enjoy the robopet.

"Thanks," he says once he's recovered enough to turn a bright smile on Blackadder again. "I would've been okay with getting everything myself, but thanks!" he says, heading off to the baking and cooking aisle.
It takes him a while, because he's busy poring over his options and frequently resorting to absurdly animated games of Eeny-Meeny-Miney-Moe to pick out brands and whatnot. But eventually he makes it back up to the counter with enough cupcake makings for a batch of at least three dozen, as well as some milk, orange juice, cereal, and sandwich fixings. Because really, he and Cally can't live on cupcakes all the time.
He eyes the robopet with interest. "Hey, that's kinda cool. My buddy Bridge has a robot dog."

"I didn't order it, but I have already had at least one customer interested in purchasing it. I may have to order a few more. Is your friend Bridge's robot dog like this one? Does he like it?"

handwavilyappropriate bills and hands them over. "I'll have to stop back in sometime soon and see how that's going," he says. Not that he's wondering how well it would go over if ABC Damage Control did some of their usual "modifications" to one or two of these robopuppies . . .

Edmund hands over the young man's change and bags. "And if you have any lonely allergy-prone friends, you can let them know that there is a solution other than frequenting the brothel."
