The Park, Early Afternoon
Jarod sat on the bench, waiting for Parker to show up. A mysterious package was at his side.
Hmm. If Parker didn't get there soon, he was going to be forced to eat her ice cream for her. Which would be a shame.

"How was the final, and what's that you're carrying?"

"Here," he said, taking a lick of strawberry cheesecake, then reached for the wrapped package. "I thought this might be fun. How'd Zero do? And why were you nervous about her final?"
no subject
"Anyway." Parker took another slow lick of her ice cream, humming happily, then looked at the kite and grinned. "Ooo. This ought to be fun. Anyway, that's my yearbook. I thought you might like to look at some of the photos of stuff you weren't there for this year."

"You're all heart, Parker." Smiling, he paged through the yearbook. "Looks like you've made a lot of good friends. Are they all graduating?"

"Anakin and Veronica are leaving?" It occurred to Jarod that for the first time, people he considered friends would be leaving his life, just because that's what they did. "I'm sorry about Angel. I know you went through a lot together this year. And Logan, I, er, guess."
Although, personally, he was okay with Logan leaving. No more bleeding Parker ulcers, hopefully.

Finishing up her cone in a couple of bites, she said, "Where do we want to fly that thing?"

"Callisto, Xander and Veronica are graduating, but they'll be around this summer. Anakin might, he wasn't sure yet. Logan Echolls is graduating too. He's -- sort of a friend? I guess?" She paused, giving her cone a lick. "Depends on how badly he's screwed up lately. He's taking off, I heard." She sighed. "And Angel is going back to his version of L.A., damnit."

He looked around. "What's wrong with the park? Are there kite rules I don't know about?

Parker grinned. "Nothing wrong with the park. I'm just wondering if there's enough space without running into the duck pond."

"Do you want to run first, or do you want me to do it, and you can take over once the work's done?'

He stopped abruptly, but stumbled because of his continued momentum. Jarod stared over at her, his mouth hanging open. "..."

Jarod smirked slightly, finding the humor in the situation, "Are you sure this isn't just a plot to steal another one of my shirts?"

He decided now probably wasn't the time to tell her that any of the girls at the Sin would lend her clothes so she could get back to school.

He slid his hands down her bare ribcage, resting them on her waist as he kissed her back.

All further conversation was tabled in favor of indoor sports that did not require uniforms or equipment.
