Wonka's Sweets Shoppe - SUNDAY BRUNCH

Wonka had prepared a feast of chocolates and fruits dipped in chocolates for the Sunday brunch. He propped open the door and put out all the crates and tables he had for people to eat by. Then he brought out the light chocolate, dark chocolate, white chocolate, chocolate mixes, coffee chocolates, strawberry chocolates and fruits to dip in chocolate.

Then he sat down to wait and read through Miss Luna Lovegood's application.

Quietly opening the door and peeking inside, the scent of chocolate enveloped River. Ir reminded her of her childhood. She hadn't tasted chocolate since leaving Osiris, and now the scent brought back memories, almost painfully. She stopped in the door.

River looked at all the chocolates displayed in the shop. It looked wonderful. But she had learnt that wonderful could be painful and scary (being a scientific test subject does that to people). Was this real? Would this turn into one of those horrible dreams?

River looked frightened. "They... don't hurt?"

River slowly extended her hand towards the bowl. When her fingertips touched one of the coins she felt a sting of pain, like burning. It might be in her head, or it might be real, but she couldn't tell which. Not being able to tell was the worst and made her face look tormented. "They burn," she mumbled.

There was something about this man than confused River even more. Most people would have insisted that the chocolate coins didn't burn. THEY would certainly have done so. The shopkeeper's reaction was strange, but that strangeness was what made River dare to reach out for a strawberry and put it in her mouth.

It was perfect. "This is good," she said.

Could this be a trick? River hesitated, but the smell of chocolate was overpowering. She took another strawberry, dipped it in chocolate and put it in her mouth. It was even better. "Vevy good," she said with mer mouth full.

Now feeling safer, River approached the table where all the chocolate was being displayed, and began making her way through all the different kinds of sweets on offer.

Orlin comes in. Not so much for the brunch but to stock up on chocolate for his trip.

"No need, I'm already tempted by most of the chocolate already in this store." Orlin said honestly.

Orlin looked excited, "Oooh, sounds yummy."
