Miho stopped by Jeff's to terrorize the clerk and pick up some cheesecake. Mmm, delicious cheesecake. She was in a good mood, so as she waited for the clerk to box up her cheesecake, she decided to share it with the girls at the Sin. She thought Becky in particular needed cheesecake for some reason.

"It really is. Just goes to show you, people are the same wherever you go." He smiled. "I think the next year's going to be pretty good. What do you think?"

"When I got here, I was trying for 'cautiously optimistic,' but so far so good, so...yeah. I think it's going to be great."

Jack glanced down at what was left of his danish, laughing quietly. "I feel like we should make a toast, but there's not really anything to use. I don't think the remnants of a raspberry danish quite cut it."

Z frowned at the sad, small remnants of the danishes. "It is kinda hard to toast with crumbs."

"I'm pretending that I didn't just have the urge to make a really bad joke about toast crumbs." Jack shook hs head, chuckling at himself. "But we could try?" He picked up a tiny piece of danish and held it out, well aware that he was being incredibly silly. "To a great year?"

Z tapped her tiny piece of danish against Jack's and said with a wide grin, "To a great year. And new friends?"

"And new friends." Nodding decisively, he popped the tiny piece of danish in his mouth, matching her grin with one of his own.

Z popped the last bit of danish in her mouth and beamed at Jack. "Thanks for my danish."

"It was my pleasure, Z. Thanks for your company." Elbow on the table, he rested his head on his hand and beamed back. "You'll join me again sometime?"

"I'd love to, Jack. We should probably get back to the dorms."

"Yup." He hopped up and held out his hand. "May I escort you back to the dormitories, Z?"

Z bounced to her feet and took his outstretched hand. "You most certainly may."

Grinning, he led her out of the bakery, heading back for the dorms.
