Empire Records and Bidet [5/21]

Nadia is stuffed full of empanada-y goodness, she's in a bit less pain from her arm and ribs thanks to actually sleeping in her own bed for once, last night, and she's kind of in the mode of "If I don't do something like, right now, I'm going to explode".

So she's dancing around and drumming on things as she opens the store and cleans things up.

Today's music mix: Robert Miles, Sylver, and ATB for all your techno-trancey needs.

"Good god you're everywhere." tim remarked as he entered the store. He seemed to keep running into Nadia.

"Hey Nadia. You're room mate is everywhere?" His foot was certainly not starting to tap from the irrisistable force that was techno/trance.

"Yeah." Nadia went back to bopping about. "He has the power to duplicate himself. Which would be nice right now, because then I could be in more posts while I maintain my responsibilty to open up the store all the time."

"I guess that could come in handy." he said. And no, his hand did NOT start tapping at his leg as the beat infiltrated his soul.

Tim finally gave in to the funk and allowed his head to bob, just a bit. "Yeah it's pretty cool." he said. "When's it from?"

Tim had come in search of music, from the FUTURE! For no particular reason. This music kinda sounded futuristic.

After finishing up at Cafe Fina (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomtownies/849928.html), Walter stopped in Empire with a take out box with waffles and side containers of whipped cream and strawberries. For the waffles! Not dirty.

He came on in and grinned to see Nadia bopping about. "Is this a way to attract customers? It's working."

Nadia grinned at Walter. "Hey! So far it's brought in Tim, and you. Which is more business that I usually get, so, yay!"

"Yay!" Walter set the takeout bag on the counter next to the register. "I brought you something to eat. Alfred was hosting the Sunday brunch today."

"Oo." Yeah, okay, so she'd eaten empanadas this morning. Nadia was a growing girl, she could eat Cafe Fina food, too. "Best boyfriend ever!"

Any blushing was hidden by the sunburn. "This is what happens when you have a butler for a boyfriend. Get used to it."

"Yes sir." Nadia saluted. She was no stranger to sunburn herself, and Walter's didn't look too bad. "How was Alfred's?" Was Pip there? Is he sorry yet?

"I met a girl named Elle. I think you might have talked to her before? Something about your shoes?" He smirked and watched to see what sort of reaction that might elicit.

Elle. Right, the lady she met in the lounge and asked for advice about the datethatshewasn'tgointothinkaboutbecauseittotallydidn'thappen. But, shoes?

Oh, right.

"I told her you didn't stretch them out at all."

Sometime around six, Lucas came down into the store. He was rather absurdly happy.

"Half day today, Nadia. Go home."

"What do you mean, no?"

"People might still want to buy music. I'm staying."

"They can buy music on Tuesday when Jamie works. Go home."

Nadia wasn't letting Pip boss her around, and she wasn't letting Lucas do it, either.
