Caritas - Sunday evening [Open]

GOB walked into the bar, appreciating the smooth zombie jazz that had been played non-stop over the past 48 hours. Really, it could have been worse.

He barely noticed that Tino wasn't doing much. Tino didn't appreciate this. Tino vowed not to get a single order right tonight. Too bad he vowed this on the slowest night of the week.

[OOC: ~~I'll probably be AFK for about an hour.~~ I'm back. Still feel free to mod Tino. And as per

marsheadtilt's suggestion, Tino is on strike this week. He'll either refuse to serve or give the wrong order. Complaints can be made to Caritas management.

UPDATE: GOB is gone for the night. Tino is by himself. He's putting up aluminum siding around the bar. Yes.]

Tino is here to provide the worst service possible. GOB is here to be slightly better than that. If you're lucky.

After a very successful interview with that Peter Parker kid, Artie headed for Caritas. It seemed he'd been falling down on his duties as security for the club. There wasn't a damned bit of siding in view!

He slung his briefcase up on the bar. "Greetings!"

"Hey, Artie," GOB said. "What do you want?"

"It occurs to me, Mr. Bluth, that I have been remiss in my duties as a security officer at your establishment." Artie started unloading siding onto the bar. "You haven't got even a little bit of the most secure siding in the world on your building."

"You work here?" GOB asked. "Wait, there's a spell thing for violence. Why do I need you?"

"Does the spell repel dirt?" Artie nodded knowingly. "And yes, I have worked here for quite some time, it would seem."

"So you repel dirt?" GOB asked. "I guess I've never seen you covered in dirt or anything."

Artie laughed heartily. "Not I, but my siding has been said to do so. It also offers the greatest protection from the elements and is nigh impossible to dent!"

"Yeah, I don't want any," GOB said. "I like this place as is."

Artie looked aghast. "I'm not certain you fully understand the amazing properties of aluminum siding, sir! Perhaps a full demonstration?"

He pulled a ballpeen hammer from his briefcase and held it poised above one of the siding samples.

"Go ahead, beat the hell out of your siding," GOB said.

Artie proceeded to do so, at something approaching full strength.

The siding held up remarkably well, though it did at times go skidding out from underneath the hammer, leading to potential damage to the bar itself.

"See? Remarkable stuff, isn't it? Simply remarkable!"

"Hey! Watch the bar! You damage it and Tino will do something to you!" GOB said, reaching out to stop Artie's strikes.

"Well! If your bar had siding on it, it wouldn't be an issue!" Artie cheerfully pounded away. Oh, and that was on GOB's hand.

Oops.

A light flashed and Artie was gone from sight.

His briefcase and samples remained.

"Goddammit!" GOB yelled. "Tino, watch the bar. And burn that siding crap or something. I have to go to the clinic."

GOB left, leaving Tino on his own. With the siding samples. Tino grinned an evil grin.

"Hey Artie!" Tim said brightly, before doing a double take at what the man was wearing. He was stopping for a quick peek as to who was around before headed back to the dorms from work.

"Everything Pipe?"

"Indeed it is, boy, indeed it is." Artie smiled condescendingly at Tim.

That, didn't quite seem like Artie. He was being...low key. "I'm looking forward to our next class." Tim said. "Your workshop is a blast."

"Good to know, kid," Artie turned back towards GOB. "Now if you don't mind, I've got some important business to attend to."

"Uh, yeah sure." Tim said. heh?

Tino will make you something to eat. He just won't cook it. He is devious like that.

Yep. This is all V's doing.

In unrelated news, I just watched the first episode of AD with Mr. Bananagrabber. GOB really should have held on to the animation rights.

Dude - the aluminum siding is SO not my fault!
