Empire Records and Bidet: [6/20]

With the slow amount of customers today, Jamie decides to spend his time getting more acquainted with the recording industry.

Or he's just reading a magazine with nothing better to do.

Either way Empire Records and Bidet is open.

"It's a very pleasant place to visit," Willow said with a smile. "Where the company is nice and the chocolate and Bitterwoman reruns are plentiful."

"Why it just sounds like a little slice of heaven," Jamie said dreamily. "I must go there someday. So what brings you to the glorious Empire Records and Bidet. Just so you know? Our bathroom has no bidet. It's misleading I know but I didn't name the place."

"That's okay, I've never known how to use a bidet anyway," Willow said. "I know they explained it in that one movie but it seems far more complicated than it needs to be. Actually I'm here for music. And help with music. I figured you'd be good for both."

Jamie cocked an eyebrow at the 1940s reference but just smiled. "I see. 1940's huh? Well Jazz was pretty popular back then. Have you ever heard Billie Holiday, Duke Ellington or Frank Sinatra back when he was singing with Tommy Dorsey's Orhestra? They were pretty popular back then."

Willow snickered. "It's sort of like a birthday, I guess, but not really a birthday. There will be cake. Possibly other food too if I can get him to stop being a boy and show a preference for things."

"Just find out what food he doesn't like," Jamie suggested as he loaded some of the music CD's into the listening station. "That way you'll at least know he isn't eating something he hates. Did you want to listen to some of these songs?"

Willow took time to sample songs from all of them. "You know? I think I'm going to take everybody. No telling how much music we might need."

Of course with the earphones on this came out louder than it needed to.
