Luke's Diner [5 PM FHT]

Rory had done good work, as usual, and the diner was decorate with blue streamers and balloons.

But no glitter. That's what Jaye was for.

"Like a house," Lorelai said. "And this humidity sucks. I can't wait for this baby to be born. How are you?"

"I completely agree with you about humidity," Piper said. "I'm okay. Been kinda busy with my workshop."

"How do you like teaching?" Lorelai asked.

"It's pretty fun, actually. Basically, I just hand the students instructions and hope they don't burn the place down," Piper joked.

"I'm only organized because I suffer from OCD," Piper said, amused. "Are you gonna teach business again or are you taking some time off because of the baby?"

"I'll be back in the fall, but I'm not teaching business again. I'm going to teach a class that introduces people from other planets and times to twenty-first century America," Lorelai explained.

"Oh, that sounds like fun and very informative for people not from around here," Piper said. "I'd sign up for it if I was returning in the fall."

"You'd be a great TA for that. But since you're leaving me, I asked Jaye," Lorelai said. "Do you know where you're going in the fall?"
