Caritas - Open [6/22]

Veronica was grateful that the club was air conditioned. Even the short walk from the school to town seemed to take forever in the heat.

Tino was still nowhere to be seen. She wondered if he was on vacation this week and GOB forgot to mention it.

Shrugging, she set about getting everything ready to open. She just hoped no one asked for a strawberry daquiri tonight.



[ooc: i anticipate being in front of a computer all night as it really is entirely too frakking hot to do anything else. Tino is unmoddable; still on strike and all.]

"That you did," Veronica grinned back. "I have no idea where he is. He wasn't here on Tuesday either. Maybe he's on vacation and GOB forgot to tell us."

She shrugged. "You want something to drink?"

Veronica's shifts at Caritas had been mentioned enough on the radio that Willow felt confident in guessing when she might be working.

Pleased to spot the blonde behind the bar, Willow took a seat and waited for Veronica to notice her.

When Joxer arrived at Caritas, he gulped a bit when he saw Willow. But, after double checking to see that Kaylee wasn't around, he went and sat beside her.

"Hey, long time no see."

Walter took the first and had a long swallow before smiling at her. "Thank you. May I have another? I know I'll be wanting it; I'll save us both the wait."

Walter found a quiet, out of the way, and NFB corner of the lounge to sit in with Nadia, setting his untouched drink on the table and having another drink of the one he'd already started.

"Pippi told me that Seras thought that I was sending her conflicting messages after I had to tell her something on Saturday. I was going to talk to you about it, but Seras and I talked earlier." He shrugged. "I think we have it worked out."
