Caritas - Friday evening [Open]

GOB stepped into Caritas and noticed that no preparation had been done for opening tonight. "Hey, Tino, stop slacking! Get to work."

GOB didn't realize that Tino was nowhere to be seen. He generally didn't look at Tino, so this was understandable. What he did notice was that the zombie bass player was attempting to play the longest note on a saxophone ever. That could get annoying.

Willow came into Caritas a girl on a mission. She looked around for GOB.

"Hi," Willow said with a smile. "Are you Mr. GOB?"

Well, at least she pronounced GOB right.

"Willow Rosenberg," she said, offering her hand. "Current customer, and girl with a plan."

Willow had been rehearsing this. "While Caritas is a fine establishment for all things drink, singing, and, well, zombie related, I was wondering if you'd ever considered adding a dance floor?"

"So people could dance!" Willow said, figuring that GOB simply hadn't thought this through to the logical conclusion. "Back where I'm from the only club in town had a dance floor and it was very popular. Lots of people hung out there. Oh! And spent money."

"Not for those of us who don't like singing in public," Willow pointed out.

Quark sidled up to the bar. He rubbed the back of a lobe and grimaced. "I don't suppose you could get the band to stop that, could you?"

Quark made a mental note never to hire zombies. "Get me a vodka on the rocks," he said. "And find me a prettier bartender."

"I prefer my drinks to be served with a little cleavage," Quark said. "Though cleavage without sass."

"Don't tell me about drinks, hoo-mon," Quark snapped back. "I've run a bar bigger, better, and more profitable than this quaint little joint."

"Quark's, of course," he said. "But not the pale imitation I set up in this town. Just in case you were thinking about making fun of that hole in the wall."
