Caritas - Saturday Evening [Open]

Weevil had returned to Fandom a few days ago. It's definitely good to be back after spending a week in Neptune. And he's glad to see the zombie band back as well. He notices Tino seemed to be missing, though. He just shakes his head in amusement.

Caritas is open.

"Yeah," Cally said, and held up her glass of water. "I propose a toast... some buttery toast, with, like, cinammon and sugar. Cause that'd be really good."

"Buttery toast with cinammon and sugar." Nadia raised a glass.

Cally clinked her glass against Nadia's and took a drink. "I wish I could be like this all the time. Cause there's no crying when I'm drunk, and there's been too much of that since last night." She took another gulp. "Course, It'll probably work itself out soon."

"It probably will. But drunk means you might have a hangover tomorrow. It's much better to get high, sometimes."

"Never done that," Cally said. "I mean, normally I'm not one for big heights."

"We'll stay away from the edge of the roof when we get high for the ritual, then."

"Okay," Cally said. "I trust you'll make sure I do everything correctly."

"I will do my best." Nadia's accent got thicker as she ~~handwavily~~ drank more.

"You know, we've not really gotten to know each other really well yet?" Cally said. "But you're definitely getting to be one of my bestest friends."

"Sounds good to me! Let's drink to being best friends!"

Cally looked at her glass. "I'm still on water, apparently, but definitely drinking to that." She raised her glass before taking a big gulp.

"You just have water? That's not right. . . ."

"Veronica doesn't want me getting hung over," Cally said. "So I had to switch."

Nadia nodded. "Veronica likes to take care of people, doesn't she."

"Seems to work pretty well for her," Cally said. "Given that she's even letting me stay on her sofa, I really have to say I like that she likes takin' care of folks."

"Just so long as she knows when she can stop."

"Yeah," Cally said, though she didn't completely follow. "Hopefully I won't have to crash there too long."

"You can use my room if you don't want to crash with Veronica all the time. But Jamie talks in his sleep."

Cally smiled. "Aww, he does? That's kinda cute."

"I dunno, sometimes it sounds like they're sexy dreams, and that's more than I needed to know about my roommate."

Cally looked at her empty glass. "I think I'm gonna crash," she said. "Thanks for helping me out tonight, okay?"

"No problem. Any time you wanna talk, or not be emo, let me know, okay?"

"Will do," Cally said. "Take care of yourself."
