Edmund was sitting behind the counter with a notepad on which he kept writing something while muttering things like, "Sneer Your Way to Success? No." And "Bastardy for Fun and Profit? Probably not."

It's entirely possible he was contemplating teaching a workshop. Why? Money, of course. Why else? Spending time with the brats? Bite your tongue.
