Veronica was still pretty tired when she made her way into work. She begged Tino to get everything ready and she flopped down on one of the couches in the lounge, praying that she wouldn't get a huge crowd like Tuesday.



[V will get up and serve drinks if people want her to -- but not until after 7p EST cause me & teh roomie are going out for dinner.]

Nadia came in specifically looking for Veronica to give her an update on the ghost information. She was unfortunately unsurprised to see the other girl crashed out on the couch.

"He's still after you, huh?"

"Yeah, I didn't get much sleep last night," Veronica said. "What's up?"

"I've got a bit more information on the ghost stuff. And I wanted to see if you got my email last night." Nadia held out her notes for Veronica to look over. "I'm just trying to keep track of all the information, so we have it all in one place."

Veronica looked over the notes, blinking at the 'bite Jaye' notation, and then favored Nadia with a smile. "This is good work," she said. "Bel's ghost is a witch he killed and Archie's is... a sadistic bastard who tormented him on one of the ships he sailed on."

Clark had his nose inside a book about Ghosts, and had another about hallucinations under his arm. He wasn't really paying attention to his surroundings except to dodge walking or standing people. So he very nearly sat on Veronica as he blindly went for a seat.

Veronica moved out of the way in time and jumped up from the couch. "Sorry, I was trying to catch a nap," she said.

Clark started, his glasses falling off onto the book he was holding. "Oh! No I'm sorry I should have been paying more attention."

For a moment he looks at her as if he's seeing her quite clearly without the glasses, but quickly slips them on.

"I should be behind the bar anyway," Veronica said. "Do you need a drink?"

She happened to glance down and notice the title of his book. "Why are you reading about ghosts?"

Not finding Veronica behind the bar, Archie went looking for her in the lounge and smiled tiredly. "I don't suppose there's any room there for me?"

Veronica pulled her legs up so Archie could sit down. "I'd ask how you're doing, but, well, I can tell it's not good."

Archie sank into the couch beside her. "Is it that obvious?" he asked, reaching for Veronica's hand. "I don't need to ask how you are, either. You look exhausted."

"I just want to sleep," Veronica said, taking his hand. "Anakin did something to help take away my nightmares, but that didn't stop Aaron from bothering me last night."

She studied him carefully. "You look tired, too."
