Caritas [Sunday Evening]

Greg opened up Caritas, mulling over the conversation from earlier in the day with his school-appointed and very grumpy little brother.

He whistled as he started to reassemble the band, and then took his place behind the bar and waving cheerfully to Jarod on the other side of the bar.

"Grrrrr." Parker leaned over the bar, and placed a kiss on his mouth, snagging a lemon from the fixin's tray. "Someday I'll prove it to you, but since it's to my advantage-- mostly-- for you to be dense..." She took a bite of the lemon, and a quick lick of it, before leaning forward and kissing him again. "I'll enjoy it while it lasts."

"Just the usual conflict between wanting to be right, and wanting my own way," Parker told him. "Don't worry about it. I might call you from Lake Catherine, by the way, in a day or two."

Parker cocked an eyebrow at him, feeling her mood become more subdued. "Another project out of town?" She nodded carefully. "Okay."
