Caritas [Sunday Evening]

Greg opened up Caritas, mulling over the conversation from earlier in the day with his school-appointed and very grumpy little brother.

He whistled as he started to reassemble the band, and then took his place behind the bar and waving cheerfully to Jarod on the other side of the bar.

"Jerry!" Lorne exclaimed happily. "How are you my friend? Pour me another drink. Tino watered down my sea breeze."

"Lorne!" Jarod actually came around the bar and hugged Lorne, clapping him on the shoulder. "Welcome back, and I'm doing well."

He mixed up a sea breeze and set it down in front of his former employer. "Let me know how that works for you, and then you can tell me why you're back."

Lorne gave his drink a sip and uttered an enthused "ahhhh". "Jerry baby that was perfection. Set me up with another and then with a date with the cute bartender with the hair."

"As for why I'm back? Good word of advice: Never invite Madonna onto a Kids show. It's bad for business."

"Sorry, no can do, Lorne," Jarod answered, already mixing another drink, "since that bartender with the hair happens to be dating that lovely blonde," he said as he pointed out Isabel, "and it seems to be relatively serious."

"I will...keep that in mind."

Lorne pouted slightly. "Ah well. There's plenty of fish in the sea. We'll convert that clownfish yet. So how've you been Jerry? Gobster treating you okay? How are the monochromatic cupcakes doing over at the fun house?"

"Yes, GOB's a surprisingly good boss," Jarod said with a shake of his head, "and the women at the Sin are doing very well. They've talking to telling me how whipped I am, though." He may have looked amused by that.

"Versace finally getting her ya-ya's out with you?" Lorne replied. "That's wonderful Jerry. She needs to cut loose a little."

Lorne gave Jarod a concerned look. "Everything okay with you guys? Anything your old Uncle Lorne can do?"

"We're fine," Jarod waved that off, "but she's had some nasty shocks since you left about her family. It's hit her hard."
