Caritas [Sunday Evening]

Greg opened up Caritas, mulling over the conversation from earlier in the day with his school-appointed and very grumpy little brother.

He whistled as he started to reassemble the band, and then took his place behind the bar and waving cheerfully to Jarod on the other side of the bar.

Parker stood her ground---

Then put the jacket on, very quickly, pushing back the sleeves. "Come and get it, wiseguy."

"If you wanted me to undress you that bad, you just needed to ask."

Annnnd that was the capper right there.

Parker pulled back her fist and sent it flying toward his chest, right where it'd knock the most breath out of him.

And down Seely went.

"Feisty."

"Feisty is for chihuahuas." Parker put one spiked Dolce & Gabbana in the middle of his chest, then leaned down, glaring. "I'm just mean. Welcome to Fandom, Mr. Booth."

Seely just grinned and decided not to mention he could now see up her skirt.

Parker snarled at the grin, gave him a swift-but-not-too-harsh kick to the ribs, then straightened and stalked back into the bar. Still wearing his jacket.

After leaving Parker at the bar, Jack thought he'd detour down the alley, see if he could find the poor unfortunate who'd been dumb enough to rile her up.

Cute. Jacketless. In the alley. Yeah, this was probably him.

Jack crouched next to him and smirked. "You didn't read your handbook, did you? Otherwise you'd know not to poke the Parker."

Seely grinned up at Jack. "But it was fun watching the steam come out of her ears."

Jack had to laugh, partly in amazement, partly in agreement. "Yeah, I'll give you that one. But you're lucky all she took was your jacket. It could have gotten a lot more personal. I'm Jack, by the way. Jack Harkness. You want a hand up from there?"

"The dangers what makes it fun," Seely replied, before offering Jack his hand, "Thanks. Seely Booth."

Jack hauled him to his feet. "Well, you are cute," he said, giving him the once over. "Pity about the missing jacket. It would really have finished off the outfit." He leaned against the wall, and grinned. "So, where to, Seely?"

Seely grinned and gestured back into the bar. "Think she'd kill me if I went back in there to ask for it back?"

Jack facepalmed. He actually facepalmed, and started laughing. "Yes. A thousand times yes. Trust me on this, it's not worth it. How did you survive this long?"

"Charm, good looks, and a winning personality?" Seely offered.

Still laughing, Jack shook his head and clapped Seely on the back. "Now you're stealing my lines."

Seely laughed and shrugged. "The classics are universal."

"You have no idea how right you are." Jack waved in the general direction of the bar. "Come on. I'll buy you a drink and you can tell me where you're from."

"Never let it be said I turned down a free drink," Seely replied. "Lead on, Harkness."
