Caritas [Sunday Evening]

Greg opened up Caritas, mulling over the conversation from earlier in the day with his school-appointed and very grumpy little brother.

He whistled as he started to reassemble the band, and then took his place behind the bar and waving cheerfully to Jarod on the other side of the bar.

"He looks like Angel?" Jack asked. "I never got to see Angel. Again, I mean. After I got back."

Tino, as if by magic, put another bee by Jack's elbow, and was rewarded with a winning smile and a hefty tip for his trouble.

"Anyway," he continued, "Angel was cute, right? So maybe this boy just needs to learn he's not the fairest in the land. And also how to take a hint."

"I'd think me punching him and then kicking him probably gave him some indication," Parker said, fussing with the collar. "He might get this back, if it looks like he has a clue. Someday." She grinned. "And please, please don't make me watch you kiss him. Bad enough when it was Wings. I don't nee the doppelganger version too. Yikes."

"He might be slow," Jack pointed out. "Could take him the loss of a few more articles of clothing. Which might not be all bad, now that I think about it." He smiled happily for a minute, then shook his head, bringing himself back to the here and now. "Not a fan of the boykissy? I'm disappointed Parker. But I wasn't planning on kissing him. Not unless he asks really nicely."

"Sometimes it's pretty, but not when it's Angel. Or Logan." Parker shuddered on both names. 'Then it's all weird and ugh and gahhh, no. I don't even like to *admit* that Angel has sex, even though Cal has made it more than clear that he does."

"What, you don't like to think that Angel has sex?" Jack smiled innocently. "Or that Logan has sex?"

Parker made a face like a Persian cat being offered dry cat food. "Ugh. Ew. Stop iiiiit."

Which made Jack grin hugely and lean closer. "Angel has sex, Parker. So does Logan." Jack had no idea if that was true, but he figured it was a safe bet. "Sex, sex, sex." Yeah, he was going to get thwapped, but he couldn't resist.

"I'm pouring beer over you, I am, I really really am," Parker threatend, whapping him very lightly. "But only because I can't shake you silly in here becauase of the no-violence spell."

Jack subsided and smiled at her. "Sorry?" he offered, even though he didn't sound it. "But you're going to be gone for almost an entire week. I have to make sure you don't forget me."

"Yeah, like that's an option." Parker snorted lightly, then pinged his nose. "Sometime I'll take you to the Lake. This time, you get a phone call. It's all good, I swear."

He ducked his head and grinned. "Yeah, okay. But you're taking me with you next time. I want to see this lake."
