Caritas, Monday Evening

After a full day of packing boxes and cleaning out garbage (which was definitely a new experience for Jarod, who had never had things before), Jarod was happy to be back behind the bar again.

Hopefully there'd be less hitting tonight, though.

GOB walked in looking... Well, there was a mixture of emotions. All of them required a drink, though. "Thanks for covering last night, Jarod," he said, taking a seat at the bar. "Scotch."

"Coming right up," Jarod poured the drink. "You missed quite an event."

"What happened?" GOB asked.

"Lorne came back and sang a medley, there seemed to be more adults in town, and Parker hit some guy." Jarod may have looked a little smug at that last part.

Chad remembered walking by the bar earlier that day, and noted maybe peeking his head in. He knew drinking laws in the States prohibited minors from drinking, but he also knew that he could very well pass for over twenty one. Besides, he'd been drinking since he was ten. He didn't come from a very good part of Mexico at all; and you just don't drink the water in any part of Mexico, much less bad parts. All you drank was beer. In Japan, all they drank was sake or bad beer. So the idea of possibly getting a good drink for a change appealed to him.

With a possible job looming on the horizon, too, Chad knew he could afford it.

"Corona?" he asked the bartender. They had to have Corona. Which is exactly why he changed his mind. "No. Pacifico. If you have it." But his brain was still turning, seemingly quicker than what his typically quiet self could keep up with. "Wait. No. Can you make a michelada (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michelada)?"

"Oh, absolutely," Jarod said with a quick grin. "With or without hot sauce?"

"With." Chad frowned a bit, surprised that he'd even ask. "Of course." What was a michelada without hot sauce, except a sissy American drink? Might as well get a margarita if you went that route.

Jarod nodded with approval and added the hot sauce, then handed the drink over. "Are you new in town, or just to Caritas?"

Jaye is having a rough week already. Hellooooo, bar. "Can I just get like, a line of shots right in front of me, and I'll make my way through them in order?" she wonders.

"What kind?" Jarod asked, already lining up the glasses. "And what's wrong, Jaye?"

Jarod winced. "Yikes." He poured out the shots and set a salt shaker and some lime wedges out. "What's happened?"

A bar is a nice, comfortable setting for him, he's had a little of a really good drink, and he approved of her poison of choice, so Chad followed a rare inclination of whimsey and nodded a greeting to Jaye.

"Hey....not-newbie?" He was guessing. It didn't seem highly likely that one of his kind would use such terminology.

Why was it the memory lane generally lead Yondaime right to a bar, a bottle of sake and most of the times both. After handwaving unpacking his boxes in his office and goign through his old things and pictures Yondaime decided that he needed to get away.

He sat down at the bar and gave his best smile. "Do you have Sake?"
