Caritas - Tuesday Evening
Jane is watching Tino fix the zombie band.
She's never going to get used to that.
The bottle of... something helps though.
[ooc:Please wait for OCD Open! Caritas is up early as I've suddenly got a hair appointment, I must go sign some paper work for our new apartment, and a class to attend tonight. I'll be around for a bit a little later, but otherwise slooooowplaaaaay. Mod Tino and there's an extra OCD if you really want to talk to Jane. Weeee!]
[[ooc the second: For the new people: Caritas is protected by a Santuary Spell as per the Caritas of the same name from Angel the Series. This means when somebody tries to do violence, they will be transported out of the building. So play nice in the bar. Thank you.]]

Stage
Sing a song.
Sing it loud.
Sing it strong.
Re: Stage
Lying in my bed I hear the clock tick,
And think of you
Caught up in circles confusion
Is nothing new
Flashback warm nights
Almost left behind
Suitcases of memories,
Time after
Sometimes you picture me
I'm walking too far ahead
Youre calling to me, I can't hear
What you've said
Then you say go slow
I fall behind
The second hand unwinds
If you're lost you can look and you will find me
Time after time
If you fall I will catch you I'll be waiting
Time after time
If you're lost you can look and you will find me
Time after time
If you fall I will catch you I'll be waiting
Time after time
After my picture fades and darkness has
Turned to gray
Watching through windows youre wondering
If I'm ok
Secrets stolen from deep inside
The drum beats out of time
If you're lost you can look and you will find me
Time after time
If you fall I will catch you I'll be waiting
Time after time
You said go slow
I fall behind
The second hand unwinds
If you're lost you can look and you will find me
Time after time
If you fall I will catch you I'll be waiting
Time after time
If you're lost you can look and you will find me
Time after time
If you fall I will catch you I'll be waiting
Time after time
Time after time
Time after time
Time after time
Re: Stage
If there was one thing to be said for Agnes Nitt, it was that she had a Voice.
She sang, harmonizing with herself to create the disconcerting impression of two singers:
Have you seen the old man in the Street of Cunning Artificers
Selling hot pig pies (or cow or horse or goat)
Tangy mustard might disguise the gristle lurking in his pies
"Just a dollar fifty and I'm cutting me own throat"
CHORUS:
So how can you tell me that you're lonely
And say for you that the sun don't shine
Let me walk you 'cross the Ankh
and lead you through the streets of Morpork
I'll show you something that'll make you change your mind
Have you seen the old girl in her Quirm Street apartment
Stitching up the clothing that's piled upon her floor
"Bugger off!" you'll hear her say, broom in hand to chase away
The dwarves outside her window and the monks outside her door
In Harga's House of Ribs at a quarter to eleven
Black robe and scythe in the corner all alone
For starter, main course and dessert, look at the front of Harga's shirt
He's pleased with his new cook, he works his fingers to the bone
Have you seen the wizard inside the Mended Drum
Half his hat is missing, "WIZD" is all that's there
Permanently paranoid, he shares drinks with an anthropoid
One more forgotten wizard in a world that doesn't care
Bar - Tino
Re: Bar - Tino
Blair's voice changed to a british accent as he replied to himself. "No, I had no idea. Basketball...is that the one where you bounce the ball, or the one where you pile up on each other? Scotch, please. Neat. Unless there's any chance of a decent Chateau Lafitte?"
Tino didn't even blink at the different voices or the fact that the kid was talking to himself as he served the soda and glass of wine.

So there he was at the bar, nursing a glass of whiskey.

Whistling softly along with the tune the Zombie band was playing, he waved to a few faces he recognized and slid into a free spot at the bar. Waving Tino over, he ordered a scotch on the rocks, then settled in to sip his drink and listen to people sing.

"Can I have a screwdriver please?" Scully asked the barman before she turned to watch the signing, and consider why anyone would subject them to that.
Bar - Jane
Re: Bar - Jane
He was pleasantly surprised to see someone who was dressed in a familiar fashion behind the bar.
"Well helloooooo there, ma'am!"
[ooc: slowplay is more than fine, I just want Pete to meet Jane]
Re: Bar - Jane
"Well helloo to you fella." Jane said with a smile. "What can I get ya?"
