The noble walrus stalks about the ice flows, looking for prey or pretty girl walruses.

He begins heading off towards the backpacks, pens still up his nose.

Lyra was slightly overwhelmed by the vast selection, but hid it tolerably well. She grabbed a couple of pens at random, writing on a piece of scrap paper to see which was nicest.
