Stuff for Sale smelled like new notebooks and freshly sharpened pencils.

Blair grinned and decided that it was the best smell ever.

Janet was laughing too, but maybe not at incorrect highlighting. And she was laughing in a nice sort of way, so it could possibly be interpreted as laughing at incorrect highlighting. "You're extremely well-organized," she said. "So what classes have you signed up for?"

"Dancing, history, biology, cross-species communication, and that one about medicine and magic," Willow said. "'course no idea if I got in all of them yet. You?"

"World religions, religion and myth, and practical science," said Janet. "With the same caveat. I was hoping we'd have a class together, though. Since Peter and I are friends, I figured I should get to know you a little better."

"There's always clubs," Willow pointed out.

"True. I don't think we have a science club." Janet frowned. "We did for a while, but the guy running it mysteriously vanished. Or maybe he got pulled out by his family? Sometimes it's not just very clear."

Janet nodded. "I know what you mean," she said. "Well, not about that whole Hellmouth thing, because Colorado Springs never had one of those, but about it being a weird place here."
