Selkie Cove: Thursday Morning
Lana found herself up early this morning, but without work or classes until after lunch. after talking with Marie about Selkie's Cove last night she found she really missed the peacefulness of it and decided that this lovely cool morning would be a perfect time to go sit on the rocks and watch the waves.
After a stop to grab some chai and a pastry, Lana made her way out to her favorite watching rock. She spread out the blanket she'd brought and made herself comfortable.
Ah... she'd missed this.
[OOC: Absolutely open. Feel free to come chat or commune with Lana or find yourself another rock entirely to sit on. :) ]

He found a good, narrow, sturdy looking rock, and perched atop it. After finding his balance, he removed his artificial leg, and stood on his one foot, hands pressed together in front of him, his eye closed.

Thus, the half-watching. Not openly watching or staring, but being aware enough that she'd notice what he was doing.

In his surprise, his foot slipped. He managed to turn the fall into a controlled one, catching himself with one hand, and turning it into a kind of flip onto the ground. Then his artificial leg followed him off the rock and landed on his head.
"okay, ow."

"Fine," he groused. "Shouldn't have lost my balance like that." He rubbed his head. "Metal leg on head is not a fun combination." he added.

Using the rock as support, he bent down to pick up the leg, and began reattatching it. Which consisted of fitting the stump into the top and tightening some straps.

"How long have you been here?" he asked. "or, did you tell me that already?"

After Billy
Quietly picking his way across the rocks, he stopped beside hers. "Any chance that a beautiful girl might share her rock with a wandering stranger?" he asked. "Even if he comes empty handed?"
Re: After Billy
"Absolutely. Please. Come on up." She moved over to make room for him on the blanket she'd set out. "You're more than welcome wherever I am."

"And don't worry about startling me," she said smiling again. "I startle very easily. So much so, that it's almost like not startling at all."
