Edmund was once again working on his adventure story novel. The brave butler had finished with the gypsies, left after being gifted with the honor of several of the most nubile - brilliant word, that - of the gypsy girls, and was on his way to regain the throne for his master. Of course, he would be the power behind the throne, and the king would be the one who needed a food taster.

"Yes, yes. Edmund faced the regiment and drew his sword.... Brilliant!" This was even better than the first edition of the book he'd written and Baldrick, curses on his family, had burned.

All and Sundries is open.

"The secret is, to get Baldrick, he's the smelly one, to ring up your purchases."

"Has it always been like this?" Naomi asked, she would have found that strange but after two weeks at Fandom, it didn't seem so impossible

Sometime in the early evening, Jamie picks up a couple of packs of klondike bars and a styrofoam cooler with ice to take it home.

He gets a good deal on everything and wonders for a half second whether or not he should tell Baldrick that the communist stuff was an evil prank but decides that Edmund deserves whatever he has coming to him.

"I've never bought anything in a real shop before," Door says as she enters the store, looking around a bit wide-eyed even though she has been in one. Just never with any money or the ability to get someone to accept it if she had it.

Seely thought he was doing an admirable job of hiding the discomfort of shopping any normal male possessed. "It's easy, find something you like, and if you've got the money, pay for it."

"With clothes? You miiiiight wanna try them on first," Carmela says. "Just a suggestion."

"I'm not used to that being an option I get to control," Door says, grinning. "If we're lucky there might be a tailor or a seamstress come through, but usually you take what you can find. We pass things down a lot."

"...Yeah, somehow I don't think there's any chance of him being a tailor. So we'll have to go with what's on the racks, I suppose."
