Caritas - Friday evening [Open]

GOB had an idea. It was a great idea, he felt. And so he had Tino put together a sign and had Tino put the sign up outside. The sign read:

Need a date? Have a bunch of them!
GOB Bluth Presents:
THREE MINUTE DATES @ CARITAS!

NEXT SATURDAY! SEPTEMBER 16! 6:00!

"You could have used some more exclamation marks, Tino," GOB said before walking back to the bar.

[OOC: Good for interaction, but mod Tino if you would like. As indicated above, I'll be working on the plottery post, but I had nothing good for the post itself without announcing it. :)]

Given Jack's interesting week, Caritas seemed like the obvious Friday night destination. He waved at Tino and raised his eyebrows at the sign. "How can you have a date in three minutes?"

Tino shrugged and held out his hands, clearly indicating it was nothing to do with him.

Jack just grinned in response and ordered a bourbon, making a mental note to show up next week and watch the chaos.

Dean wanted to at least try and clear the air with Jack so he went looking for him. After having no luck at his room or any of the common rooms, he decided to try in town. And that's where he found him.

Maybe it was a good idea to do this in Caritas, he thought, just in case it didn't go well. He didn't need to be getting detention for fighting on top of having to deal with all this crap.

He moved up next to Jack at the bar. "Hey."

"Hey." Jack finished his drink and lifted a hand at Tino, then pointed at his glass. He pointedly didn't look at Dean, but he did ask, "Drink?"

"Beer, thanks." He had the feeling he'd be happy for the alcohol before the night was over.

"And a beer, Tino." Jack remained silent while Tino got their drinks, then paid and slid the beer sideways towards Dean. "Beer, as requested." He was pissed at Dean, but he'd been feeling very mellow before he'd shown up, and he wasn't in a hurry to disturb that.

Tino brought over the club's preferred non-alcoholic drink, chocolate milk. "There you go."
