Caritas, Monday Evening
Sam showed up ten minutes early for her shift, drink mixing book in hand and a little anxious about filling in for the night. Tino made very clear that he was watching every drink she mixed, and if she didn't make them properly he was going to dump it and make it himself.
This actually made her feel a little better, but she was still going to encourage drinking soda, beer, wine, and mixed drinks with a 'n' in the middle.

The Band
Re: The Band
"I have no idea where I learned this, but it's one of the only ones I know from this time period," he said, then launched into his song.
I was born in the wagon of a travellin show
My mama used to dance for the money they'd throw
Papa would do whatever he could
Preach a little gospel, sell a couple bottles of doctor good
He was swaggering across the stage, and it turned out Jack could sing. Very well. Even the zombies looked impressed. Or they were hungry.
Gypsys, tramps, and thieves
We'd hear it from the people of the town
They'd call us gypsys, tramps, and thieves
But every night all the men would come around
And lay their money down
Picked up a boy just south of mobile
Gave him a ride, filled him with a hot meal
I was sixteen, he was twenty-one
Rode with us to memphis
And papa woulda shot him if he knew what he'd done
Gypsys, tramps, and thieves
We'd hear it from the people of the town
They'd call us gypsys, tramps, and thieves
But every night all the men would come around
And lay their money down
I never had schoolin but he taught me well
With his smooth southern style
Three months later I'm a gal in trouble
And I haven't seen him for a while, uh-huh
I haven't seen him for a while, uh-huh
She was born in the wagon of a travellin show
Her mama had to dance for the money they'd throw
Grandpad do whatever he could
Preach a little gospel, sell a couple bottles of doctor good
Gypsys, tramps, and thieves
We'd hear it from the people of the town
They'd call us gypsys, tramps, and thieves
But every night all the men would come around
And lay their money down
Out of breath and grinning, he leapt down and made his way back to the bar.

The Bar
Re: The Bar
"Are you trying to earn money so you can escape Fandom and live a life of luxury on a tropical island somewhere?" he asked as he leaned across the bar, eyeing off Tino, not sure how he felt about anyone besides him keeping that close a watch on Sam. "And does dating the bartender earn me any special privileges?"
Re: The Bar
She grinned again. "Want something to drink?"
