Caritas - Friday [Open]

This was the arrangement for getting GOB to speak at the assembly earlier. If he did that, Tick had to run the bar tonight. It seemed like a reasonable trade.

The Tick wasn't crazy about serving alcohol tonight, though, so he had Tino run out to buy all the chocolate milk he could get.

Caritas was open and it was half-price chocolate milk night! Keen!

[OOC: This is the last day of Guest Bartender Week at Caritas. We'll be back to our regular bartender schedule tomorrow night.]

Lana'd been wandering around aimlessly most of the afternoon. She wasn't really sure where she'd been. It didn't matter anyway. She found herself near Caritas at some point and decided that alcohol might be the way to go.

She blinked a little when she saw Professor Tick behind the bar, but sat down anyway. "Professor. Hi. Can I have something alcoholic? Anything, really, with alcohol."

"Hello, Lana! Could I interest you in something a bit less alcoholy and a bit more chocolate milky?" The Tick ased. "It causes a more pleasant joy that doesn't give you a headache the next morning!"

"Chocolate milk?" Lana shook her head. "How could I have thought things would be any different here?"

She laughed with only perhaps the tiniest edge of hysteria to it. "Sure. I guess chocolate milk will do."

The Tick filled a large glass for Lana. After a moment of consideration, he put a pink crazy straw and a couple of umbrellas in it. "If there's something wrong, Lana, I'm fully authorized as Designated Bartender to lend a sympathetic antenna."

His antenna was looking rather sympathetic.

She smiled a little, despite herself, at the umbrellas and the pink crazy straw.

"Thanks, Professor." She bit her lip. "It's just... a very bad day. But it's kind of the story of my life, so..." She shook her head and took a sip of the chocolate milk.

To say the nun stared a bit when she approached the bar tonight was a little bit of an understatement.

There was a big blue guy with antennae serving drinks tonight...and she hadn't even had anything yet...

And now the big blue guy with antennae was offering her cheap chocolate milk. She knew she should have brought Chrono along with her today.

"I dunno; what mixes well with chocolate milk?"

For a girl sipping double chocolate chocolate milk through a crazy straw, Rosette was looking pretty disheartened, slumped on the bar. The slurping slowed to a halt as she turned her head toward the sound of someone talking to her. She sighed, then straightened.

"No, I don't think we have," she said, sounding terrible depressed. Still, she offered a gloved hand. "I'm Rosette."

Aly took her hand and shook it. "Aly." She tilted her head. "You don't seem too pleased. Anything I can do to help?"

Aly was still rather pleased with the revenge that had been exacted upon the pranking miscreants. So she stopped in at Caritas for a celebratory drink.

"Is this your evening job then, Dean the Tick?" she asked with a smile.

"Hello, Alianne!" Tick said. "Just for tonight. This was the price for getting Mr. Bluth to speak at the assembly today."

"Could I interest you in a chocolate milk?"

"And a fine speaker he was," Aly agreed, chuckling. "Though I rather enjoyed some of the other presenters even more. And chocolate milk would be excellent. Thank you."

"And should I assume that you're talking about Pip and Walter's presentation?"
